Simply put, beyond excellent! I have stayed at Caberfeidh several times over the past few years! I have never been disappointed. Mrs MacKenzie is the perfect hostess & her bungalow is a real home from home. As has been said many times before the breakfast is truly phenomenal. I look forward to my next visit.

I was in Skye on business for 2 nights and have had some terrible accommodation on Skye but the welcome from Peggy quickly put my mind at rest. Arriving very late Peggy showed me to a very comfortable single room with en suite facility. I was shown were I could eat locally and Peggy couldn't have been kinder. Sleep was... More

Mrs MacKenzie met us with open arms and tasty morsels of biscuits, fruit and clootie dumpling, of which I now have her recipe. :) This lovely B&B sits directly on Portree Bay and the water lulls one to sleep each night. Our room was en-suite, 3 nights and I felt I was in heaven. The B&B was immaculate, tidy and... More

You can't do better than Caberfeidh if you want to experience real Scottish island life with all the modern comforts of home. It's right on the water's edge with spectacular views across the sea to the mainland. It's beautifully furnished, spotlessly clean, double glazed and warm and quiet, and the interesting township of Broadford with its great restaurants is only... More

Peggy is lovely and so is her place. She too care to make us comfy and was very gracious too. Simple and neat, good value.

My Wife and I have now stayed here twice, the last being on Saturday 26 February 12 and again the welcome was warm and the the accomodation very good for a B&B. The en-suite seaview bedroom we had is big, modern, clean and tidy with tea, coffee, hot chocolate and biscuits and a TV. There's even a bowl of sweeties.... More

Spotlessly clean, comfortable, but bedrooms a little cramped. En suite shower very small and low pressure but bathroom available to all guests with good bath and shower. Breakfast all at one table, so couples arriving late for the substantial breakfast may be seperated. Top restaurant in walking distance.

We stayed in this B & B for 1 night in September as it was close to Skye Bridge. The B & B was very warm, infact too warm - which made it difficult to sleep and made it a bit uncomfortable for us. However we had a lovely room with a view and the room was decorated to a... More

Caberfeidh is a typical simple modern bungalow located between the main road and the shoreline, with a gate direct onto the beach and great views from the dining room and some of the guest rooms. Sadly we didn't get room with a view, but it was comfortable and entirely satisfactory. The best of scottish weather meant we needed to sleep... More
