We couldn't have chosen a more romantic bed and breakfast at Morar. Morar was more like a small boutique hotel. Chris and Maggie were such wonderful hosts, we got a wee bit lost on the way, mostly due to the satnav taking us the scenic route, but having called Chris, he was so helpful in given us directions and ensuring... Everything about our stay ar Morar Bed and Breakfast was perfect! We were a family of five adults and a one year old and we felt so welcome we did not want to leave! That was because of the hospitality given to us by Maggie and Chris, two very special people. Our rooms were so comfortable, the food so fresh... More

This is a fabulous B&B, just 10/15 mins walk from the Armadale Ferry and Clan Donald Centre. From first talking to Chris to book I knew I was going to enjoy my stay. I booked 2 rooms for 2 singles and unlike most other guest houses we were charged single rates for each (this was late in the season). The... More

Staying at Chris and Maggie's (Morar) Bed and Breakfast on the Isle of Skye was unlike anything I'd ever experienced before. I went with my fiancee and her son, and we stayed on the Isle for two nights and one full day. Credit must be given to the wonder that is the Isle of Skye, but the love and care... More

Looking for somewhere to stay while staying in Skye. Found this beautiful place online and the fact it had a pool was a done deal. Very easy to find and only 10 mins from the ferry. We received a lovely warm welcome on arrival. Another couple arrived same time as us and we were all shown around the property. There... More

Chris and Maggie were so welcoming and very friendly. Was shown around as soon as I arrived. It was nice having a walk down to the cove to see if any otters could be spotted. Very comfortable room, and clean en-suite. Plenty of tea/coffee making facilities. Breakfast was superb, all home cooked including the bread rolls.

From the moment we found this B&B on the internet, it was appealing. Chris was really helpful with the booking and advising us on travel routes from London. On arrival, Chris took us on a tour of the B&B and its facilities including the pool, the terrace and grounds. Chris and Maggie were extremely helpful throughout our stay, giving us... More

Thak you so much for taking the time and trouble to write such a lovely review. You were a joy to have around and understood the spirit of the place, which does not always happen. We always have vegetarian sausages and gluten free bread in the freezer as so many of our guests prefer a healthier diet. Our only regret... More

We stayed here in July and there were enough in our party to fill the house but this was no problem for Chris and Maggie. Our group ranged in ages from 15 to 78 years and every one of us enjoyed the facilities. How fantastic to have a private pool at a B & B! Even the animals were friendly... More

What can I say? I loved it. Myself and my friend Fiona stayed here whilst on a hiking holiday up the West coast. We stayed here on our rest day between walks. Firstly we were welcomed by one of the dogs. I can't remember it's name, but it made some great noises and was very chuffed to see us. The... More

Just returned from a wonderful stay at Morar B&B. Maggie and Chris were wonderful hosts, really welcoming, with lots of knowledge of the local area. The rooms were lovely with absolutely everything a guest might want. The mattresses were super-comfy, and the beds each had a beautiful patchwork quilt hand-made by Maggie. Food was great, with the most awesome freshly... More
