Recently spent 2 nights at the Morar Bed and Breakfast where I have stayed before. Maggie & Chris were most welcoming and very friendly; the room was very comfortable and Breakfast was excellent Will definitely go back.

The truth is that I have never stayed at a B&B, and I was a bit skeptical about what the standard would be compared to a hotel. However I have to say that the Morar B&B was a lot nicer than several hotels my family and I have stayed in over the years. Upon arriving Maggie was very friendly, showed... More

We stayed here after three nights at Camasunary wild camping so deserved a bit of luxury. This was it: lovely room, a heated pool, beautiful gardens with the sea at the end of them, but what made it was that Chris was such a great host; a thoroughly top bloke. Maggie was away the day we were there but judging... More

My four night stay at the Morar bed and breakfast was my first time there and my first trip to Skye. Chris and Maggie are excellent hosts and make a wonderful breakfast! My 3 year old son and I made good use of the pool on one of the rainy mornings, much to his delight! The rooms are bright and... More

We stayed for 2 nights on our first ever trip to Skye this August. It is a really special place, not the most dramatic views in terms of lochs or mountain ranges compared to elsewhere on the isle but still very beautiful and mysterious and there is just something very special about staying at Morar too - we think this... My wife and I were very happy to stay at Morar. Chris and Maggie are excellent hosts and we were made to feel incredibly welcome. Breakfast was excellent (first time in 5 b&b's that we were offered kippers) and made to order, rather than ordering it the night before like every other b&b has requested on our trip. The bread... A great location on the Sleat peninsula in Skye with amazing views over the sea from the terrace, where we sat out in the evening and were lucky enough to see dolphins playing. Chris and Maggie made us feel at home and gave us great tips about places to visit. So much to see on the island. Boat trips, long... More

Thanks to Chris and Maggie for making our holiday in Skye. Our first ever stay in a B & B but what a fantastic house. Great breakfasts, stunning views and a lovely indoor swimming pool too. Lovely people and the welcome we received was brilliant. Comfy comfy beds, plenty big fluffy towels and a towelling robe too. Tea and filter coffee... More

While working in Skye someone arranged for a night's accommodation at Morar so I didn't know very much about it before I arrived. Contrary to what google maps says, 2, Calgary is actually down the hill to the left as opposed to up it. I arrived late and a note in the door guided me to my room which was... More
