Looking for somewhere to stay while staying in Skye. Found this beautiful place online and the fact it had a pool was a done deal. Very easy to find and only 10 mins from the ferry. We received a lovely warm welcome on arrival. Another couple arrived same time as us and we were all shown around the property. There... More

Chris and Maggie were so welcoming and very friendly. Was shown around as soon as I arrived. It was nice having a walk down to the cove to see if any otters could be spotted. Very comfortable room, and clean en-suite. Plenty of tea/coffee making facilities. Breakfast was superb, all home cooked including the bread rolls.

From the moment we found this B&B on the internet, it was appealing. Chris was really helpful with the booking and advising us on travel routes from London. On arrival, Chris took us on a tour of the B&B and its facilities including the pool, the terrace and grounds. Chris and Maggie were extremely helpful throughout our stay, giving us... More

Thak you so much for taking the time and trouble to write such a lovely review. You were a joy to have around and understood the spirit of the place, which does not always happen. We always have vegetarian sausages and gluten free bread in the freezer as so many of our guests prefer a healthier diet. Our only regret... More

We stayed here in July and there were enough in our party to fill the house but this was no problem for Chris and Maggie. Our group ranged in ages from 15 to 78 years and every one of us enjoyed the facilities. How fantastic to have a private pool at a B & B! Even the animals were friendly... More

What can I say? I loved it. Myself and my friend Fiona stayed here whilst on a hiking holiday up the West coast. We stayed here on our rest day between walks. Firstly we were welcomed by one of the dogs. I can't remember it's name, but it made some great noises and was very chuffed to see us. The... More

Just returned from a wonderful stay at Morar B&B. Maggie and Chris were wonderful hosts, really welcoming, with lots of knowledge of the local area. The rooms were lovely with absolutely everything a guest might want. The mattresses were super-comfy, and the beds each had a beautiful patchwork quilt hand-made by Maggie. Food was great, with the most awesome freshly... More

Visited here at the end of May with a friend and our 2 dogs, we were made to feel very welcome, the room was lovely with every amenity you could wish for and lovely breakfasts with home made muesli and fresh fruit, along with a cooked breakfast. We were given a free up grade to the family room, so we... More

We (a group of five) spent four spring days in the Morar. Lodgings were excellent: clean and not at all cramped. Every morning, a fine breakfast including fish was fully sufficient to brace ourselves for long walking tours throughout Skye. The in-house pool is wonderful to relax after hours spent in the bog or in the hills (or in the... More

My boyfriend and I loved this place so much we were very sorry we could only stay one night based on our schedule. Chris and Maggie were very welcoming, the room was immaculate and large / comfortable, and the breakfast the following morning delicious. We lingered a lot longer in the morning than we had planned, to take the dogs... More

Nice quiet area. Chris was very welcoming and gave us lots of information about the area and places to dine. Room was very comfortable with everything you could want. Breakfast next morning was cooked by Chris and was absolutely delicious! Chris and Maggi are very friendly and welcoming and we would love to return!
