Great place to stay close to the village of Dervaig. Handy for the beach at Calgary and lovely walk to a place called Croig. Jeanette and Ian are warm and welcoming hosts. Food was excellent and cannot be faulted. We hope to return one day

This Inn is difficult to rate, because it is excellent in some regards but, from our perspective and experience, not without its drawbacks. We acknowledge that others may feel a “5” is warranted, or maybe just a “3.” See what you think. Killoran Inn itself is a pleasant, well maintained, small hotel, serving breakfast and, with reservations, dinner. The food... More

Our three night stay at this very nice very comfortable guest house was very relaxing. The view from the lounge and breakfast room was fantastic. It overlook the top of the trees to the sea in the distance. The owner was obliging by giving us breakfast early on our first and last mornings. The king size bed was luxurious. The... More

I stayed here for 4 nights in May 2013 so that I could relax on Mull before I had business in Edinburgh. This is a wonderful small B&B. the food is great, thank you Janette for our yummy lunch for our trip to Staffa and the Treshnish Isles. Janette and Ian are perfect hosts, helping with anything you need. The... More

a wonderful place to stay on a magical island (with unbelievably good weather). the scenery majestic, the hotel clean and comfortable, the owners friendly, and the food out of this world. will be back again and again.

I stayed here for 2 nights at the start of May with my friend from Australia, and we were both very impressed by the hotel. The hotel is spotless, and service is more personal than any other hotel I have stayed in. Rooms are spacious and comfortable, and the home made biscuit was a nice touch, and very tasty. We... More

This was our first visit to Killoran House, in the company of friends. The hospitality and service provided by Janette and Ian more than made up for the dismal weather. Janette couldn't have been more helpful with information and tips (including several phone calls before we arrived) about visits around and about, and Ian produced some really wonderful dining experiences... We have just returned from another lovely stay at Killoran House. As usual, Killoran is spotlessly clean with excellent food, generous portions, beautifully presented. The rooms are comfortable and well appointed. There is a light, spacious lounge and balcony on the first floor which overlooks the pretty village of Dervaig. The dining room on the ground floor has a panoramic view... More

This is a very nice boutique hotel in a beautiful country setting outside a small village with an elevated view of the valley and sea loch on the Isle of Mull. Service by the on-site owners is very warm and responsive to guests needs. There is a very comfortable guest sitting/reading area with an outside deck with excellent views of... More

We stayed for 3 nights in an upstairs double room. We'd asked for a view over the valley & we got one. The detail of their rooms is on their website as are the charges. It's not cheap but you do get personal service. It was spotlessly clean - I thought it was brand new even though it's not. The... More
