I cannot recommend visiting Mull and staying a Glengorm enough!, We booked one of the small cottages on the grounds and what a treat, Took a car to catch a plane to get a bus to get a train to get a ferry to get a bus to drive a car.. and all for just 3 days! but loved it,... more

Our first night in mull we arrived at Glengorm castle, it was nighttime so we werent able to see the grounds until the following day. When we arrived, we were greeted by the owner Tom, it looked as if he had a large group of family visiting so after showing us our rooms he went back to his group as... more

After looking at the website, we were expecting a warm welcoming atmosphere, however, the castle was cold with no welcoming atmosphere. We specifically booked for the roaring log fires to come back to after walking around Mull, but had to request fires to be lit and the fire in the library smoked out the room making it uncomfortable to sit... more

We had plans to celebrate my 50th birthday (Oct 31, 2007) at Glengorm and it was to be the highlight of our trip. Because of my daughter's travel delays, she missed the ferry over so we were forced to cancel our visit at the very last minute. When we called to explain our circumstances, they could not have been more... more

We had the pleasure of experiencing Glengorm Castle and its wonderful grounds this past August. The drive to Glengorm Castle from the ferry is long and a bit scary on the one lane roads but it was well worth the time and distance. It is both a great place for couples seeking a romantic setting and for couples with children.... more

Glengorm Castle is a refurbished ornate granite mansion situated at the end of the road on bluffs overlooking the western coast of the Isle of Mull. Its architectural detail and formal rooms give it the feel of a castle though it is not really one. Guest rooms are large and very comfortable, especially the beds, and the bathrooms are huge... more

We stayed here for my birthday during our tour of Scotland. It was a fantastic experience and the highlight of our trip. What a birthday treat! The scenery is spectacular with views of rolling green hills and the sparkling blue ocean. The rooms were huge and the bathroom big and luxurios. We had superb hospitality. The breakfast was divine. I... more

There aren't many opportunities to stay in a real baronial castle....so don't miss this if you visit the Scottish isles. The castle sits on 100's of acres of beautiful land right on the water on the island of Mull. If visitng this castle be prepared to drive on the "single track" (one shared lane) roads. The castle is 4 miles... more

Because I read good reviews on Trip Advisor we decided to stay here for one night in May while touring Mull. The road to get there over Mull is very windy and beautiful (bring throw up bags for the children!) but arriving at Glengorm your mouth will drop. It is so beautiful. We had great weather so that also made... more

we stayed at the steadings at Glengorm for a week as part of our honeymoon. The appartment is absoloutely gorgeous, real quality. There was so much space and everything in it was of a really high standard which is so refreshing for self catering. Only drawback was the heating, it did seem to get quite cold and never really warmed up,although... more
