The only thing I was disappointed with (and I'm a very fussy person) was the fact that we only booked one night at this wonderful place which was very reasonable priced. Our room was clean, comfortable and quaint with lots of lovely little touches such as a bowl of sweets and plenty of books to read and lots of lovely... more

Glengorm Castle is the best B&B you will every stay at. The location is outstanding with wonderful views over the sea, the rooms are beautifully furnished and the staff (& owner) are very friendly and helpful. Breakfast is to die for. When you book in here expecting to explore Mull you could easily spend all of your time going for... more

Glengorm Castle has a very relaxed and warm feel to it. The castle rooms are very welcoming, late autumn is a brilliant time of year to enjoy the log fires and clear blue skies. The owners and staff looked after us very well and gave excellent service. There is alot of life about the place and the views and walks... more

We loved every minute of our 2 night stay at Glengorm. It felt like our very own place with the freedom you are given to roam around. The breakfasts were great and the staff couldn't have been more friendly or helpful. The rooms are beautifully done and you just sink into the beds. Having a stock of over 12 single... more

As a previous reviewer noted, the owners of the castle leave guests to do their own thing. This is Glengorm's greatest strength. I book the Terrace Flat for one week every year. I have also stayed as a B&B guest inside the castle. B&B breakfasts are delicious and the views spectacular. The owners are friendly and helpful if you seek... more

getting to glengorm was quite an adventure. When we finally made it, we were tired. As we walked thru the door, we were met by an assistence. She explained a little bit and showed us around. We booked the crannoch room, which is beautiful, the bed is great and soft and the bathtub invited for relaxing. What we did not... more

I love this place. Great room great fires fantastic views. The place is near perfect. A couple of small niggles though. I have a sports car and it kept grinding to a halt on the road. Not the speed bumps, the road. It is not much more than a track and despreately needs leveling out. We just dreaded trying to... more

We (two adults and one 9yrs old child) stayed for a week at Lephin cottage, one of the self catering cottages which belong to the Glengorm estate complex. We booked almost a year in advance and found Pam McColl, from management, patient, efficient, knowledgeable, prompt and very pleasant to deal with. The cottage lies in a delightful valley before the... more

My husband and I chose to stay on Mull for my 30th birthday. I thought there would be nothing more beautiful than staying in a castle on Mull. The drive to Glengorm from the ferry is a single-tracked, bumpy affair but other than unsettling the stomach, it is to be expected on a Scottish Island. First glimpse of the Castle... more

We had a terrific experience at the Glengorm Castle. My wife and my two kids (ages 10 and 13) were looking for that great "castle experience" and we were not disappointed. We are very picky travelers and usually stay at expensive hotels and this was as nice as anywhere in the UK we have stayed. The building and the location... more
