By chance, we found this fabulous place. I won't boar you with the whole story, but suffice to say we tripped and fell right into a bed of roses, without knowing. Everyone at Glengorm Castle is what you would hope to expect when on holiday - they cater to your whims, they smile, chat, have a wonderful sense of customer... More

A very special stay...a beautiful castle, words cannot do it justice...so much character. This is a family home and the rooms are decorated individually with original pieces of furniture and paintings...lovely and unique. There is a lounge with an open fire and a library to use and we had breakfast each day in the dining room at a window table... More

Don't be put off by the intimidating drive to the castle. Once there, you'll be treated to breathtaking views of the coastline and a beautiful castle. We stayed off season and so had the hotel part of the castle to ourselves. We had a lovely long walk around the castle along the coastline and the breakfasts are top notch. The... More

My husband and I took our 11yo son to stay in a Scottish castle. While we hoped it would be fun, we didn't realise just how superb the experience would be. Absolutely loved every single thing about Glengorm- the setting, the room (Mingary), the wonderful breakfasts, the staff (thanks Pam,Heather, everyone). Wholeheartedly recommend to everyone and can't wait to return.

We spent a week at Lephin Cottage on the Glengorm Estate. The cottage is situated a short distance from the castle, and is reached via a farm track which crosses a stream on a narrow wooden bridge. The cottage has three bedrooms, two doubles on the ground floor, and a single on the upper floor above the large farmhouse style... More

Glengorm Castle should be confused with a hotel. We were borrowing a room in a family's home. We had wonderful interaction with the kitchen staff who were more than accommodating. One evening we opted for a Picnic Tea in the dinning room with local cheeses, bread and fruit. The Castle is a working farm with cattle and sheep spread over... More

This is the second time we have stayed at The Steading Flat at Glengorm Castle, and our expectations were very high based on our last visit. We were therefore very disappointed that it did not meet our expectations. It's was looking very tired as if in the 7 or so years since we were there nothing had been updated at... More

My wife and I stayed at Glengorm Castle for one night on August 5th. From the moment we arrived, the staff, especially Helen, was very friendly and helpful. We stayed in the Torr Room, which was spacious, clean and comfortable with a private bathroom across the hall. We enjoyed the castle's library, sitting in the comfortable chairs marveling at the... Glengorm Castle was a wonderful stay- situated about 5 miles out of Tobermory up a rustic and narrow road, the castle has a commanding location and wonderful views out over the Atlantic. Our room was large, the bed was princess-soft, the bathroom was huge and had a bath the size of a small car, all the luxury trimmings. Good heating.... More

We stayed two nights at this Castle. lovely family run business. Very helpful staff and excellent breakfast. They don't do evening meals but have a nice coffee shop which serves delicious meals and takeaway picnics. The rooms are very comfortable and you get that castle feel. Views from windows are superb. I recommend Glengorm Castle.
