We had a brief stay in Mull and chose to stay the one night at Glengorm castle. We were not disappointed. 15 minutes drive from Tobermory it is convenient for shops and restaurants, yet once at the castle you feel a real sense of being away from everything. The views from the mingary room were breathtaking. It was spacious and... More

We spent our first night in Scotland at the Glengorm B&B. Our room was lovely with absolutely awesome views. The staff were friendly and helpful and breakfast was very good. Whiskey was available for sampling in the library. The Stockman took us on a tour of the Estate to look at their herd of Scottish Highland Cattle.

Stayed here for a couple night nights at the end of June 14. Lovely looking building and great location. Sadly the inside sorely needs some attention. Lots of small things i.e. small rips in cushions, lamp-shade had several holes, carpets stained, wallpaper peeling a bit, missing light-bulbs, our room had a bit of a moth problem. Biggest issue was the... More

Stayed for 3 nights when we arrived we were greeted by the family dogs and couldn't have been made more welcome. The place is amazing although not that old. the grounds are wonderful place to roam with walks of varying lengths and difficulty. Our room was lovely with views out to the see and beautiful bed and bathroom. It is... More

This was the 8th night of a trip around Scotland and the North of England and the journey from Fort William to Tobermory was just magical and loverly. The undulating roads, pass places (which were rarely used) and the Ferries just added to the experience. So when driving to the castle from the main road and rounding the corner and... More

We had a wonderful stay at the castle. The complimentary scotch in the library was excellent and generous. Spent a lot of time walking around the farm and coast. We discovered the standing stones, old dun as well as a crofter village ruin on the grounds. The family are very unintrusive and relaxed. Amazing breakfasts included.

Glengorm Castle met all our expectations and more. A friendly family home in the most beautiful setting. Stunning views, exceptional comfort, fabulous food. All at a very reasonable price. Would gladly have paid more. If you are looking for something a bit special can strongly recommend Glengorm Castle.

Well the isle of mull was a last minute addition to our trip agenda, and I'm so happy we went there. Firstly the ferry ride is an experience in itself, so much fun. When we arrived in Craigmure we had an interesting ride to tobbermorry on a mostly one line road. Don't be alarmed because there are plenty of pass... More

We stayed in Mingary - a huge light and airy room with fabulous sea views. The light was so good on the first night that you could see the sun setting over the Outer Hebrides 60(?) miles away. Stunning! The castle is very much a family home so looks lived in, and all the better for it. We didn't see... More

Absolutely perfect 2-day stay at Glengorm castle. Saying that the view is stunning would be an understatement. The castle is beautiful, with the breakfast room and the living room facing the sea. The rooms are beautifully appointed with all tea/coffee/biscuits facilities one could need. Breakfast was excellent and obviously very fresh products were used. The surroundings are beautiful and I... More
