For £110 we had a tiny bed a freezing bathroom and squeaky floorboards. The TV was the smallest and probably the oldest we have ever seen on our travels. You can hear people moving around and talking throughout the house which gives a feeling of insecurity and definitely no privacy. Dinner was £34 each a night. Breakfast was fine nothing... more

Very nice hotel, located on the main street (as most things are), with plenty of free on-street car parking - although I noticed the Hotel was co-ordinating a Town protest against the introduction of parking fees/restrictions. Spent a fantastic 3 day break at this most welcoming hotel. The staff and food really make this place, we where made to feel so welcome, we didn't want to leave. Highly recommended. The staff were extremely friendly and helpful, the room was cosy and the breakfast was of exceptionally high standard. The combination of scrambled eggs with salmon plus Italian coffee was a dream. This place should have more than the two stars it had in our guide. more
