From the moment we arrived, we were made to feel welcome. Get a room overlooking the harbour - the sunrise is spectacular! Meals were scrumptious - def. the best place to eat. If you want to see wildlife, book a trip with Richard, he's an excellent guide and his wife's packed lunches are all homemade. We will return. more

A missed opportunity by the owners of a hotel in a great location . The downstairs of the hotel was ok, but the quality of the bedroom left something to be desired. It's true, not everybody will be as lucky as we were. Having breakfast interrupted by four dolphins performing in the harbour does not happen every day even for guests of this fantastic small hotel. I stayed at the Tobermory Hotel with my husband and 3 children.We had one of the family rooms which was situated at the top of the hotel(room 16).We were very comfortable and there was plenty room with having a cot and pull out bed in the room but during the day the bed can be put away if you wish... more

This is the 3rd time we have stayed at this hotel, which has more of a b&b feel, so it cannot be that bad.Yes the rooms are small, but if you get a sea view, that makes up for it. I do not feel the bedrooms , or towels have been upgraded in 4 years. the breakfasts are very nice,... more

Very disappointing experience. We stay in a lot of small hotels around the country and for the price, this one does not deliver. Don't be fooled by the cute external picture. Internally the hotel looks tired and the staff were inhospitable. Tobermory the village is beautiful and well worth a visit, just don't stay here. The food in the restaurant... more
