The site is pretty basic with only 1 shower per gender which can mean for busy periods. But is is well kept and good location on the Isle of Mull. Site is quite expensive for what you get with three adults and a motorhome with electric hookup being £25.20 for one night stay.

I decided to take a trip to Mull and while looking at places to stay I came across Carla's Hut at the Tobermory Campsite, Carla's hut is a Shepherds hut, with a bed, small table 2 chairs, basic crockery for two, kettle, toaster, microwave and a full size fridge and a panel heater on the wall, it is bright and... We stayed in Carla's Sheperd's Hutt for two nights and really enjoyed it. We particulary appreciated the heat included in the price since we arrived under pouring rain and really needed a dry and warm place to stay. We would recommend this lovely hutt to anyone who wishes to do some camping but with some added comfort....

I have been travelling to mull for about 20 years and have used this campsite for most of my visits! Angus and Catriona have always been beyond helpful and friendly and when i am in one of their lovely caravans it is always spotless! Facilities on site are minimal but with scenery like Mull you don't need more! Close to... More

I needed a base for a few days in Tobermory before heading to the mainland. This site was good value at £7.5 p/n. Showers included but there is only one in the gents which means waiting if the site is busy with campers and motorhomes. The shower was a bit awkward as the water kept changing from really hot to... We had booked this campsite for one night as we were visiting Tobermory and getting a ferry the next morning, our expectations weren't high we were pleasantly surprised. We travelled in a campervan and were given a grassy pitch close to the toilets and showers which although a bit dated were clean and tidy. There did seem to be some... More

I stayed at the campsite for one night in late May 2015. It was a bank holiday in England and the entirety of hotels and B&Bs on the Isle of Mull was completely booked out. Ferrys had also stopped running for the day. So I had no choice but to spend a night in my car. Drove to this campsite... More

Agree with one ofprevious comments. For a motorhome site serves a purpose. It is a featureless gravel carpark for motorhomes. Looks like an afterthought. No easy access for chemical diaposal or fresh water for motorhome. Needs to be improved. Plus point. Its only £5 for a taxi into Tobermory.

We stayed here for one night and wanted to get the early ferry from Tobermory. The welcome was warm and everything was clean and well looked after. We had a campervan and were given a pitch in a grassy area without any view - loads of midges but this was to be expected! Basic site but suited us for one... More

Had a great holiday here, we stayed in one of the static caravans, very well equipped. Lovely peaceful setting our two children thoroughly enjoyed it and our two dogs. Angus (the owner) was extremely helpful, very welcoming. Would definitely recommend anyone to stay here.
