We stayed at Sunart View for the duration of our visit to Mull (four nights) and were very pleased with the whole experience. Mike and Sarah are friendly, helpful hosts (offering to dry our soaking wet clothes was just one example of this) and the house is set in quiet, wooded surroundings on the edge of Tobermory. The town is... More

Once again Sarah and Mike at Sunart View have made my stay in Tobermory memorable. I first found this gem of a bed and breakfast about 12 years ago and have been returning year after year either alone or with friends from London. I love the room with a view and look forward always to my breakfast - scrambled egg... More

The small roadway leading up to the house is littered with old cars and looks like a tip. This is in no way at all related to the b and b. We arrived at 3.45pm for 4pm check in to find note saying back by 4.30pm. We arrived back at 4.30pm and again waited until 4.45pm when both Mike and... More

We stayed in a twin room, up its own stairs with its own bathroom. We chose it for the privacy and the view and we weren't disappointed. We only met Mike who was very helpful and cooked a good breakfast (including haggis, speciality sausages and porridge), although Sarah was also helpful on the phone when we were booking. We were... We stayed at the Sunart View B&B for a week and it was superb! The hosts, Sarah & Mike, are so friendly and helpful and made us feel at home from the moment we met them. They both had a great knowledge of the island and were always interested in what we had planned for the day. The room was... More

We spent seven nights at Sarah and Mike's B&B: four nights in a cosy twin room in the eaves, with the lovely view over Loch Sunart to the mainland, then three nights in a big ground-floor double that had several impressive paintings of Mull in all weathers by Mike. Each room had its own atmosphere and both were well appointed... More

This is a great little B&B. It is situated about a 10 min walk downhill or 15 min uphill walk back from the main harbour area in Tobermory Mike & Sarah are very friendly and knowledgeable advising on places to see, walks, day trips out and places to eat. Our room was at the back with a view of the... More

For b&bs it is the hosts that make the stay as much as the accomodation and this is never more true than at Sunart. Mike and Sarah were wonderfully relaxed hosts and provided a wealth of local information. We were only on Mull for one night so wanted to make sure we saw the best of it without killing ourselves... We spent one night at Mike and Sarah's place. They were very friendly and made us feel very comfortable. The room was large, clean and comfortable and the breakfast was also OK. The location of the B&B is also fine so I recommend this place if you ever go to Mull.

We had a fantastic weekend in Tobermory and we really enjoyed staying at the Sunart View. The room was exceptionally large, giving great sense of privacy. Breakfasts were amazing. I am lactose intolerant and they provided me with soy milk and lactose free butter. I don't get such nice treatment even in five star hotels. Very nice people, very nice... More

Sunart View is a friendly comfortable bed and breakfast offering a high standard of accommodation. We are situated in a peaceful country lane - just 10 minutes walk to Tobermory Main Street. Most of our rooms, including the dining room, have lovely views over the Sound of Mull and the Ardnamurchan penninsula. Deer can be seen from the house and we have even had the occasional visit from a sea eagle.
