Staid here with my 3 children from 7th - 10th July. Spotless accommodation, comfortable beds, really quiet location, magnificent breakfasts and totally outstanding views and wildlife. Bats, hare, deer and a golden eagle. My son commented on the lovely soft towels but wifi for my teenager was a bit sporadic. You don't travel to Mull for wifi though. Such a... More

It took us a little while to actually find the B&B and as our mobile phone signals went we were a bit worried, but we asked at a small garage and were pointed in the right direction. We found the sign which is at the gate entrance of a neighbouring house, then drove through their ground to Maolbhuidhe. What a... More

The hosts, Lynda and Tim, are the best reason to choose their B&B. Lynda is a great cook, we looked forward to breakfast! Their home is set about a mile back from the main road and it is quiet...I mean QUIET as in no sound whatsoever. Whenever we had a questions, either Lynda or Tim had the answer or were... More

The fact that we have returned to this welcoming B&B should speak for itself - a lovely comfortable spacious bedroom, our own sitting room, separate entrance, panoramic views, fantastic breakfasts and a warm welcoming atmosphere created by Linda and Tim makes Maolbhuidhe a great base to explore and experience the wonders that are Mull & Iona. I have a feeling... More

Whilst the storm battered the island I was safely tucked up in this very welcoming and snug b&b. Linda very kindly cooked me a beautiful full Scottish breakfast at sillyoclock to make sure I got to the ferry on time. Highly recommended.

I was made very welcome by the hosts, Linda and Tim and found the room to be very spacious, comfortable and well supplied. The bathroom was also clean and homely. As I had cycled to the B and B and was cycling further the following day I was provided with a bountiful breakfast and fuelled for the day, while enjoying... More

My sister and I stayed for 2 nights at this B+B from 27th to 28th July 2013. Maolbhuide is situated in a beautiful, quiet location with stunning views. Our hosts Tim and Linda were very friendly and welcoming. The accommodation was very spacious and clean. The bathroom was separate from the large bedroom and we also had our own private... More

Yes, episode 3, as indeed, since our first memorable stay with Tim and Linda back in 2009, this summer's was our 3d stay at Maolbhuidhe and there will undoubtedly be episode 4, and 5 and……… I must say that this year, either Tim or Linda, or both, had done a particularly great job conspiring with the Ministry for Fine Weather... I would have liked to give this B&B a better review given that other travellers had a good experience. Pluses: good location, good hospitality from Linda and Tim, good breakfast, room was very large, brightly lit room and bathroom. Minuses: carpet and bed linens had a musty smell, bed mattress was saggy and uncomfortable. They had the impression of being... More

Naturally we're very disappointed when anyone has a less than 100% experience at Maolbhuidhe. This couple, with a baby, stayed one night (we were booked for the following nights). It's unfortunate that they did not mention any of their dislikes while they were with us. They wrote in our Guest Book: "We had a very nice stay at your B&B.... More
