We stayed at Staffa House for just one night but wished we could have stayed there longer as it was a real highlight of our trip. There's a lovely sense of tranquility about Fionnphort, which continues right throughout Staffa House. All rooms are clean, modern and thoughtfully equipped. Our stay at Staffa House was superb: extremely friendly owners, all the rooms are en-suite and there's a communal lounge with TV, but the greatest highlight was the food. We stayed at Staffa House for 4 nights in Sept 2006, exploring the Isle of Mull and Iona. We enjoyed it immensely. The room was very clean, spacious and nicely decorated with big bathroom. Located 150m from the ferry to Iona in a very small village, this B&B was an excellent place to stay for a weekend getaway to explore Iona and Mull. Larger than many of the B&B's on Mull (2 doubles- one very large suitable for small families with a 3rd bed- and 2 twins) made it useful for friends travelling together.... more
