One of the best thing about staying at Staff House is that you get the sense that the owners really care about what kind of holiday you have. Their contribution goes well beyond providing accommodation: every day Gillian would ask us what we had planned, make helpful suggestions and even ring to make bookings for us. Her local knowledge helped... More

Thank you so much for your warm affirmation of what we try to offer at Staffa House. We're very aware that our guests have travelled long distances to reach this part of the world, involving much planning and preparation, not to mention expense. It's hugely important to us, therefore, that their time here is well spent, and that they don't... More

We had a fantastic 2 day stay with Gillian and Ali. The rooms were excellent and the breakfast (full Scottish) was to die for. Everything was Organic where it could be. The welcome was wonderful. We would recommend this B&B to anyone visiting Fionnport on Mull. Just as short walk from the ferry to Iona. More

Gillian is perhaps the smiliest B&B host I've ever met - so friendly and welcoming - we were greeted like old friends upon arrival at Staffa House. The house is neat, tidy and comfortably furnished - it's the perfect place to stay for those who like B&B hospitality but prefer not to stay in chintzy houses full of knick-knacks. The... More

We stayed here for four days in August. Clean, quiet and welcoming. A really good breakfast - organic and personally cooked - better than in many highly rated hotels. Helpful information about local places to visit, and things to do. An exceptionally nice B&B. We could see Iona from our bedroom window. Good pub meals close by. Highly recommended. More

We stayed here before acting a guides on Iona and can't praise Gillian enough for her attentive yet unobtrusive welcome. She made us feel peaceful. The breakfast was marvellous and the rooms comfortable. There is something of the quality of Iona's spiritualtiy about this place. More

Stayed here for 2 nights whilst cycling round the Island and was delighted with our choice. Gillian and Ali have a lovely house which is spotlessly clean and well kept. The breakfast was delicious as was the homemade bread, marmalade and jam. Gillian was attentive without being intrusive and I was very impressed the way she remembered everyone's name at... More
