We stayed for two nights in a double with ensuite. Our room was bright and modern and our ensuite was perfect. Our hosts Iona and Brian were so friendly and couldn't do enough for us. Breakfast was first class! Lovely orange juice and cooked breakfasts using their own eggs - wow! We have never had eggs like them! There are... More

We have just stayed here 16th July 2014 and we had a great stay our host Iona and Brian could not be more friendly a definite plus in my book, the only down was the open fire was not lit even on our damp night of arriving but not to worry about things like that just go and stay.

Can't add much to Allyson989 and LilianK5's reviews. Its a lovely place to stay and very interesting, do ask about the history if you stay. I can confirm that the meals in the pub are excellent - we ate there both nights we stayed at Ardbeg House and it was very good value for money. Lots of good information available... More

We stayed here for one night recently during a trip to Mull to celebrate our wedding anniversary, having stayed here previously we knew we would enjoy ourselves. We had a lovely time and really enjoyed our stay with Iona and Brian who are so friendly and welcoming. The house is full of character and the accommodation very comfortable with everything... More

We had a lovely overnight stay here to break our journey. We liked the house and its beautiful grounds, full of lots of hens and ducks, which our daughter loved. Very nice friendly, rural feel , very peaceful and we had long chats with Iona. The room was very clean, comfortable, lovely big comfortable bed and our daughter had a... More

Iona and Brian are very friendly and make you feel very welcome through out your stay. We stayed for two nights. Very big house on a nice property within the village. It's an old house (Iona believes it's about 160 years old), so expect an older feel in terms of the facilities. Wifi is there but you need to be... More

Hello, Thank you for your review. I am very sorry to hear that your stay with us at Ardbeg House was marred by the poor WIFI signal, As you mentioned in your feedback the house is over 160 years old and is stone built with very thick walls and this can have a detrimental effect on these type of signals.... We stayed here in July 2012 while on honeymoon. Beautiful building in a massive well-kept garden ... full of hens and ducks. Refreshingly unpretentious - lovely slightly quirky decor inside, but with a bit of old-fashioned charm about it. Good sized airy, bright room Comfy bed Wifi works Good shower GREAT breakfast in a lovely room Hosts are lovely -... More

Ardbeg house is very nice B&B with comfortable rooms and a great, spacious garden. We had the family room and it had a good size to host the 3 of us (also for 4 it's enough space), everything was clean and tidy. The hosts Iona and Brian are very friendly and made us feel welcome immediately. We enjoyed our stay... More
