I can't say enough good things about The Bellachroy. The building is a historic landmark... a quaint Scottish inn. The modern furnishings and en-suite bath were cozy and very comfortable. The breakfast was excellent, and the Inn's pub had some of the best food we had in the UK. The inn keepers were absolutely top notch. As we were checking... more

We visited the Bellachroy in June 08 and had too much excellent food.(our own fault) The platters are stunning and we only managed light breakfastsas a result. All food seems local and fresh with the seafood and smoked meats being our favorites. Bedrooms are large and comfortable and staff friendly. We will certainly visit again. more

Having used Trip Advisor many times both for Europe and the UK and found it very useful, on our recent visit to Mull we chose the Bellachroy Hotel because of its excellent reviews - and what a great choice! Very comfortable room with views of the mountains and loch, food absolutely wonderful - breakfasts are delicious and the dinners superb!... more

Six of us stayed at the Bellachroy Inn in May. We had a lovely reception on our arrival from Nick and Debbie Hanson (the owners). Our room was very comfortable and had a superb en suite bathroom which had just been renovated. The food was superb and even though we stayed for five days we seemed to manage to choose... more

Just returned from Scotland with a sun tan! In May! Spent 3 very comfortable nights at the Belachroy Hotel in Dervaig and enjoyed their breakfasts, picnic lunches and dinners x 3! Nick and Debbie who own the hotel go out of their way to ensure you enjoy your holiday and the food (and wine) is excellent (even by my fussy,... more

We stayed 4 nights B&B and had dinner reserved to come "Home" to each night and received nothing short of excellent service and food served by friendly and easy going staff. The location for us was perfect as driving to and from the hotel on our various trips around the Island offered excellent views with plenty photo stop opportunities. A... more

We stayed at the Bellachroy for one night on our 5 day journey to Scotland, it was our 2nd night on the island after having stayed at Glengorm Castle. The drive to the Bellachroy is on a single track road so we did not even consider going into nearby Tobermory for drinks or dinner as the drive back would have... more

We like the peacefulness of the island of Mull in March ,however the whole island is almost in hibernation which we enjoy. The downside to it is that you could expect cut down menus, unmotivated staff and made feel unwelcome. It always seems that most complaints in restaurants or hotels take place in quiete times. Not so at The Bellachroy... more

I am very glad to have went to Mull even if it was for one day. We only really went as my wife wanted to see Tobermory. The hotel is only 10 - 20 mins drive (depending on the mood of the sheep on the roads) from Tobermory and looked a lot nicer than the Tobermory hotels. The room was... more
