Jumped on a ferry from Oban to craignure, should have known better with it being on a sunday. No ppublic transport to my final destination for a dinner time skinner Tobermory,so crossed the road to sample a few of the local beers but was told not opening till 12 bells, a stroll around was in order to kill my thirst, anyway... We ate here after climbing Ben More in the day. It is quite small but that's because it was out of season and food was only being served in the bar. That was absolutely fine for us though as the bar was warm with a log fire and locals playing darts giving it a real island quality. We ordered our... More

We ate here in the Saturday night having spent the day bagging Ben More. The pub was cosy and warm and the food was excellent and served quickly. I had 3 large portions of fried sea bass with potatoes and samphire, my friends had the mussels and the venison burger. On request extra bread was provided to soak up the... More

What a relief to stay in a room large enough to accommodate two adults with luggage rather than the box rooms provided elsewhere. Lovely large room, fully furnished.Large bathroom. As with many others we just had the one night here before the ferry but if in this part of the world again I would certainly try and have longer at the... More

We dropped in here while waiting for the ferry back to the mainland, and had a good meal in this very characterful pub. No problem with taking a dog into the bar, several vegetarian options. And the service was quick so the timing for the ferry was perfect. The food was good and other diners seemed to be enjoying it... More

Had an evening meal here last week. The food was pretty good and was sourced locally - I went for the Glengorm Steak Pie ...mmm yum. I ate in the public bar area which retains the traditional inn character. You can dine in this area with dogs or move to the restaurant if you wish a dog free dining. Everyone... More

Whilst staying at the local caravan/camping site we visited the pub three nights in a row. We were made to feel very welcome by both the locals and staff. We had a cracking few nights chatting, sampling the excellent ale and hearty food. Thank you for your welcome and super food and ale.

My partner and I have eaten many times at The craignure Inn over the last few years but this summer, we decided to bring my two girls aand our beloved little dog. We attempted to eat here this evening and were turned away. Not beacause they were full, not because we were dressed inappropriately but because we had one small... More

We stopped in for some lunch after having some treatments at the spa down the road. The food was so fresh, absolutely mouthwatering! The mussels we had for starters were nothing short of phenomenal and were a good sized portion. Our pulled pork baguettes came and again were a very generous portion with fresh salad - grown on the property... More

A very busy little pub, and although the food was good - and it was good, we were disappointed that apart from the mussels (sourced 10 mins down the road) there was very little else made of local produce. It was more standard stuff that you can get at any pub - anywhere.
