We recently stayed in this hotel during a two week spell of island hopping, a decision based purely on the trip advisor reveiws, and we were not disappointed. The staff were very professional and extremely accommodating, the food was excellent and very reasonably priced, with venison cooked to perfection and beautiful kippers for breakfast. The only faults I could find... more

The single rooms (#31 in my case) are underneath the bar and dining rooms with a booming floor between the two... with mine beside the poorly soundproofed stairwell to the lower level... good luck getting a quiet moment with your thoughts before midnight ! No soap or shampoo which is strange for a hotel. The wifi internet signal was so... more

Many thanks for your recent comments on your stay with us. We do appreciate the time our guests take to send their views. The wi-fi is really best in the public areas due to our location and the available signal. Sorry about this one. Sound proofing should not have been a problem however i will certainly investigate.

The hotel was very clean and comfortable and the food was good. The spa and pool were lovely and I enjoyed reasonably priced spa treatments. I was however, disappointed with my very small single room for which I had paid a sizable single room supplement. more

Many thanks for your response to your recent stay and i will pass on your comments to the staff concerned. Regards the single supplement charge this has always been a bone of contention with the group agents and has been in place as long as i can remember and unfortunately i have little control over however your point is well...

This hotel has undergone an upgrade since my last few stays here. The public areas are warm and friendly, view are magnificent, and really enjoyed our stay. The food was a good standard, with some interesting choices for vegetarians. Bathroom a little tired, but had new shower rose. Rooms very clean, and staff coped excellently with so many demanding guests... more

Arrived at hotel late evening due to problem with Ferry, managed to book a table in the dining room but the choice of food was a bit disappointing, however the food we did have was very nice, the staff were efficient and friendly. Room was fine even though the bed was a bit too firm it was comfortable and the... more

We had arranged a pick up from the ferry terminal which at first seemed like a lovely service to offer however with lots of vans and buses waiting at the terminal we were left standing for quite a while. We were not approached or welcomed so when we were finally pointed to the correct van by a different bus driver... more

My husband and I stayed at this hotel for two nights earlier this month. I found the hike down two flights of stairs then back up another a bit daunting, especially with two suitcases and no-one from the staff offered to help - I think a lift would be an absolute asset here! Once we got there, our room had... more

Thank you for taking the time to respond to your recent stay with us. I was really surprised that the girls at the desk did not ask if you required assistance with your luggage and i will certainly investigate why this was not done. Their is no reason for bad cleanliness and i will speak with our housekeeper and show...

I booked the Isle of Mull hotel as a romantic treat for Partners' birthday. I wish I had read the comments on trip adviser before I had booked, I may have through twice. We booked the 2 night romantic break that included the dinner bed and breakfast, dinner from the Table D'Hote menu. We arrived early, a few hours before... more

Lets start this review by setting some of the context; Mull is a beautiful remote and sparsely populated island, that is why you will be visiting it, so set your expectations accordingly. The Isle of Mull Hotel is probably one of the largest and most modern hotels on the island, and there aren't many so you will be limited for... more

Many thanks for your response to your recent visit with us and i appreciate the points that you have highlighted. I will certainly take on board your comments on the drying facilities as we do have a large number of walkers who use the hotel. The pool closure was due to the dosing of chlorine into the pool. This is...
