We visited the Isle of Mull hotel and spa for my boyfriends birthday in August. We got a really good deal, the managers special, which included 2 night stay with 6 course dinner on both and a bottle of prosecco in our room. After reading some of the reviews we were a bit apprehensive about the hotel, on arrival the... More

I loved this place.Welcoming bottle of prosecco on arrival The Hotel decor looks like something out of the 70s and seems to have not been updated for years. The corridors are long and maze-like and the hotel seems to be suffering from a faded grandeur. The room was quite small and the bathroom was not modern. There is no wi-fi... More

Prior to our visit we read many comments on this site regarding this hotel and we were a bit mixed about our two night booking however, we should not have worried and it goes to show how many comments on this site can be very misleading. The hotel was great for our stay on Mull. Yes is not the most... More

6 of us enjoyed a 2 night break booked through Classic Britain. The hotel is just a few minutes away from the ferry terminals at both Craignure and Fishnish and about 3/4 hour from Tobermory. Rooms were clean and spacious, dinner was from the 6 course taster menu with the option to choose from the a la carte menu at... More

Long, long hotel so if you have mobility issues you may need to request a room close to reception/restaurant, we were down in the depths (lower ground),no lift, and quite a trek. Bedroom was fine, little tired, but served its purpose. Could here room above but didn't cause a problem. Room overlooked the garden. Bathroom was adequate, no shower gel... More

We stayed here two nights as part of a tour. The room was the size of that on a cruise ship, and the bathroom smelled moldy. The breakfasts and dinners were excellent, and it was convenient to get to other parts of the island, not to mention the ferry, which you walk to. I think if I were traveling independently... More

Stayed on voucher deal so didn't expect a huge amount. Still, was disappointed. Corners cut absolutely everywhere. Stained and worn carpets in corridors set the tone. Bathrooms in rooms were the cheapest ever - like those full bathroom for £199 kits you get in B&Q. Not a luxury hotel as the advertising suggested, therefore I was disappointed. If you get... More

I visited this spa within the hotel as part of a camping holiday to the beautiful island of Mull with a friend. The value for money and quality of service was fantastic - we opted for the spa day with afternoon tea which was only £35 per person. This included a 30 minute treatment and use of facilities along with... More

We stayed here for four nights in early August. Appearances weren't good from the outside - very seventies council housing block - and things didn't improve much when we got inside. Tired, dated decor and design. Our room was on the lower ground floor and getting there necessitated going down a total of four flights of stairs (no lift/elevator!) along... More

I was staying for one night only to attend a relatives' funeral on the island. The lack of competition can be the only reason that this chain charges what it does.I can remember when this place was built in the 60's, and most of it is still original, but not in a good way.I had a single room which was fine, nice bed,curtains...
