Just back from 3 nights at this hotel. It is the third time I have stayed there - last time was 2003. The first 2 nights were booked through 5pm deals and we payed for an extra night so excellent value. The location is stunning and the views over the bay wonderful. I felt that the hotel was looking a... More

We had a wonderful week/end at the end of February this year at the Isle of Mull Hotel when the food was definitely the highlight of our stay. The staff were very helpful and attentive especially the dining room staff. The very relaxed atmosphere and the comfort and facilities in our room provided just what we needed. The island has... We started off on a bad foot this hotel and us, but it managed to win us round and we had a very enjoyable stay and would definitely return! When we arrived we were told that our initial booking of a family room had been messed up and there wasn't a family room available. We were told we would have... More

We had booked a table for 9 for my mothers birthday family meal. Even though there was another big table in and a few others the staff were very attentive/organised. I had the best Sunday roast in a while! Beef just fell apart when cut, brilliant. Our table had no complaints and in all a lovely meal. Will return again.

My wife and me booked a 2 night weekend break on a DBB basis with Easybreaks, and then upgraded to a sea view room, robes, slippers, fruit etc.... Check in was very efficient and reception staff, especially the tall lad who greater us at 5pm with a cheery 'Good Morning' (well he had been on shift since 7.30am, and not... More

We stayed for a couple of nights. The highlight for us was the beautiful dinner we had which was very good value. Having the option of the use of the spa was also great as we where there before the season really starts in Mull so took the opportunity just to relax.

Super location for ferry from Oban, and convenient for visiting both Iona and Tobermory. Remember single track roads mean that time taken to travel the distances involved are considerably longer. Staff are most welcoming and hard working. We upgraded to a superior sea view room which was very well equipped and on the same level as reception. The spa was... More

Great location just 400 yards from the ferry terminal. Views over the bay at breakfast/dinner was fantastic. Staff very friendly and willing to have a chat and a joke when time allowed. As others have commented, it is tail end of winter season, so didn't see too many staff, but service wasn't overly slow. Loads of parking, our room six... More

We stayed here for a friend's 50th - we had a private dinner which was amazing and the chef had totally excelled himself. The staff were exceptionally friendly and very accommodating and nothing was too much bother. Our room was very comfortable and clean. All in all a fantastic night with great friends.

Just back from a two night stay at hotel. Winter staffing levels meant that they were rather stretched however all staff were friendly and very sociable (especially Gaby ). Hotel was very clean and rooms were clean and warm. Special mention must be made of the evening meals, they were excellent in choice, taste and service. We didn't use the... More
