We stayed here six years ago and while they might have updated the carpet, and done repainting they haven't done much about service attitudes.  The first sign nothing had changed was there were no staff to help our coach driver carrying the bags into the hotel and deliver them to the rooms. Lovely hotel, with nice helpful staff. Room was nice, food was great. The three course dinner for £20 in the restaurant was fantastic and great value. Swimming pool, spa and hot tub a free for guests to use and are great, modern and clean, and nearly empty through the week. All in all i would highly recommended this hotel. More

This was our second visit, and was a deal through 5pm.com and was very good value. Apparently hotel closed over winter for a revamp, but we didn't see much sign of this, apart from some decoration and new carpets. Have just returned from two night stay and must say we were most satisfied with all aspects of our visit. The dining room was efficiently run and the food quality was good. The pool and spa facilities were excellent and the bedroom accomodation standard was pretty high. We shall return. More
