I enjoyed a stunning short break here with my wife. Our time at the hotel was great, lovely home cooked food and clean rooms in a location to die for as it is 5mins walk to the beach. I would certinly recommend a stay here .

Stayed here over the New Year and must say it is the best New Year I can remember. The hotel is run by a gentleman called Tony who is helped by a couple of younger people and they were the perfect hosts. Nothing was too much trouble for them and we were made to feel extremely welcome. Their local knowledge... More

We stayed here for 1 night whilst touring the Hebridian Islands. The room was very clean and the bed was comfy with nice quality bedding. The en-suite shower room had an electric shower, which is important as we had a couple of problems with thermostatic showers on our tour! Breakfast was very good with a good choice of cereals, cooked... More

Ardachy House Hotel, a few miles from Bunessan, was a good location for our planned boat trip to the Treshnish Isles from Fionnphort. Our south-facing twin room gave onto a wonderful view of the islands and, in the far south-west, Donegal. The room was clean and compact, with good use made of the available space. After a stroll on the... More

We travelled from Devon on a recent trip to Mull. The hotel is in a beautiful part of the island and very remote. Very poor phone signal which was a bonus. We were welcomed by a very enthusiastic owner and made to feel very welcome. We had travelled a long way and were fed a basic but filling meal and... More

You'll love Ardachy House. A little remote but easy to find, very comfortable, stunning views, very friendly and great food. It is in a remote location I had no phone signal but other guests on 02 said they had a signal. Bunessan just 2 miles away is another beautiful location with a selection of shops and Bar/Restaurant.

Despite not having pre-ordered dinner, the owner went out of his way to feed and look after us weary cyclers, which was an incredibly helpful gesture. The hotel and location are fantastic and I would highly recommend staying there. Rooms were clean and comfortable and the breakfast of cereal, porridge, toast and full cooked scottish was superb - stornoway black... More

Welcomed in Car Park by owner who was very nice. Guided personally to room. Spotlessly clean and welcoming but a few issues that if sorted could make this place unmissable! Location great if your heading to Iona as short distance in car. No TV's anywhere. Not a problem for some but in a stormy night like ours it would have... More

We followed the two mile drive up a very narrow road from the main road only to be told when we got to the house that they were not open. There is a Scotish Tourist Office sign advertising this B&B at the main road which needs a ""no vacancies" hanger on it. I realise that B&B's are not 24/7 but... More
