We have stayed in all of the lodges over the years. All are excellent and exactly as described on the website, which is also very useful. I can not recommend highly enough. Suggestions are welcomed. Run in a friendly way. Full access to all the comforts of home.

We stayed with friends at the Craigroyston lodge for a weekend at the end of March. We had also booked the hot tub for the weekend. The place is well situated for exploring and is well equipped with all the mod cons. The beds are extremely comfortable and the curtains block out all the light (useful in the summer). The... More

We stayed here for a long weekend for my schools 40th reunion. We stayed in Metegama and it was just perfect. Lovely views over the fields and out to the coast. The jacuzzi and sauna were perfect for relaxing after all the dancing the night before. House was clean well laid out and so easy to feel at home in... More

We enjoyed three nights in Metagama on Stornoway's Sand Street. Having flown in, the lodge was very easy to find and is in a great, quiet location on the northern edge of town, just a few minutes' drive from the centre of Stornoway. The lodge is stunning, with a large, well appointed kitchen and open plan dining area and lounge,... More

Stayed here (metagama) and the larger craigroyston on several occasions, ourselves, with friends, and with family (children). Each time an excellent experience. Houses are clean, well laid out, well equipped, and very comfortable. Graham, the owner is genuinely keen you have a good stay. We've been here with and without a car, takes 15 mins tops to walk to harbour... More

We visited the Western Isles from Ireland and stayed at Iolaire Lodge and absolutely loved it. The accommodation was excellent and the hospitality of the owner Graham McLellan and his team far exceeded our expectations and made our stay really memorable. It is an excellent base close to the Ferry and the Airport and ideal for exploring the Western Isles.... More

Absolutely loved our 3 night stay which became 4 nights due to the ferry being cancelled. The lodge was absolutely stunning with all the best features we could have asked for. Owner was incredible for communication before and during stay and we are incredibly thankful for everything.

We stayed in Metagama during the christmas week, this was our first visit and we absolutely loved it. The lodge was brilliant, more than we could hope for. The facilities in the lodge were excellent. It was a great location for exploring the rest of Lewis and Harris. This was our first trip away at Christmas with our young family... More
