was recommended this place to stay by a collegue who stayed here many years ago, as the hotels were full...maybe he doesnt like me!!! The single room I got was up in the eves at the front of the guest house, it was absolutely tiny, and a bit grubby at the edges. And it was really expensive, the shower room... more

We stayed here for 3 nights. Our room was very comfortable and clean, if a little old-fashioned, but the ensuite bathroom was modern and impressive. We had a room at the back of the hotel so couldn't hear the traffic on the main road. There are no lines on the road outside the guest house so you can park right... more

Most disappointed. Room and bathroom filthy - Still hungry after over expensive dinner - had to buy sandwiches afterwards as there was no veg or potatoes with meal. Would never go again. more

Room shown- curtain pole prevents the window from opening more than 2 inches. The socket for boiling the kettle does not function. The wall at the foot of the be acts like a hot radiator(cooker below in kitchen?) Facing on fancy double hand basins loose. more

This was my second stay at Park GH. - having returned because of my impression the first time. It is very comfy, warm and friendly; the food is superb, both evening meal and breakfast. Each time, I have had a room at the front, and have had no problem with noise - even with the window open just a little.... more

Stayed for the second time on business, last time Oct 07. Standard of rooms is excellent, bathrooms are superb. Food is simply outstanding! As a business traveller throughout Scotand the food just doesn't get any better than this. I just wish the same standard was available in others areas of Scotland. more

Have to say that I was worried on what I was letting myself into, I really like to check web sites to see where I am going to be staying, however not the case for the Park. The rooms were clean - I was fortunate enough to stay in the annexe and there was no noise at all. The room... more

We were recommended to stay here on business and it was much better quality and value than the hotels in Stornoway. Some of the rooms have been redecorated and they're planning to do the rest. Rooms were clean, breakfasts good and owner helpful. Didn't have the chance to eat in the restaurant as it's closed on a Monday evening as... more

For the past 9 years I find myself making trips to the Isle of Lewis 2-3 times every year, I have stayed in various establishments around the island, more so around Stornoway … the main hub of the islands. Since I found The Park Guest House 6 years ago, I have never looked at or thought of another place to... more

I had heard that this was a charming place to stay, but I found it rather dull, and was unfortunate to have a room facing the main road, which seemed to be busy from about 7am ! Whilst the twin rooms are reasonably priced, the singles are a rip-off. Also, when you are placing your breakfast order, don't expect the... more
