I have travelled the world for 14 years. Stayed in all sorts of places. This bleak run down hotel fits in perfectly with its surroundings. Stayed in better places most people only see on the news. My advice to the owners, keep the resturant, demolish the hotel. Make this your last choice, I kid you not!! more

Ended up here as a last minute booking when the weather turned and the tent wasn't appealing anymore. It is very close to the port if you have to catch an early morning ferry but that is all it has going for it really. It is incredibly over priced at £105! Room was small, very small. About a quarter of the size of the room in Berneray!! Clean. Breakfast okay, nothing special. Staff friendly, local and knowledgable. Inn was the quietest place we stayed at. However, we spent minimal time in it due to the size of the room. Expensive for what you get; half the price would have been reasonable. more

I attended a wedding at this hotel, and got a preferential rate of £80 per room B&B. Let me say first off, it's not worth £80. We stayed at this hotel for one night and thank goodness it was only one night. We stayed in room 31 and I have stayed in better budget rooms in Butlins as a child. The bath would be ok if you are 4ft in height and the shower was attached to the bath taps via the old fashioned rubber hoses... more
