Many thanks to Shona and Ali who made us so welcome. Superb place to stay. We would thoroughly recommend staying here. Very easy access to Stornoway town centre and the Ferry Terminal. Excellent breakfast set us up for the day.

Recommended without reservation. The accommodation was lovely, warm, comfortable, great view and very convenient location. Outstanding was the warmth, friendliness and generosity of our hosts, Shona and Ali. They made us so welcome and helped us with all kinds of useful advice for our impending move to these isles. I'm sure we'll see you again. Many thanks, Lionne & John

We stayed here one night as we toured round from Ullapool to Lewis, Harris and Skye. Its right next to the ferry terminal so couldn't be easier to find. Comfortable room at the top with a shared bathroom which was fine for one night (you forget how much you take a bathroom for granted) There are plans to give each... More

Ali and Shona provide an amazing service. We expected B&B and would have been very happy with it - great location, quiet despite being so close to the town centre and ferry port, very good breakfast, comfortable sleep. But I mentioned some details about my grandfather from Keith Street, Stornoway, to Ali, and was put in touch with people who... More

Ali and Shona are very welcoming and helpful. The room was really comfortable, very clean and beautifully kitted out with Harris Tweed cushions and throws. The breakfast is plentiful, good quality and freshly cooked to order. The location within walking distance of the centre is an added bonus.

Hi 870708, Pleased you found your stay comfortable and thank you for your comments re the décor. A lot of our guests comment on the Harris Tweed touch and I think it encourages them to source some locally themselves which can only be good for the local economy. As you also mention, the location is very close to the town... More
