Fantastic welcome from Margaret and Bill. Lovely house with every amenity you can think of, spotlessly clean and comfy beds. Yummy breakfast with so much choice it was difficult to decide. Margaret was a fount of knowledge about the area and apologised for the weather!! - hardly her fault. Wish we could have stayed for more than the one night... more

Staying with Margaret and Bill felt like coming home! Room was cosy and warm after a day out exploring Lewis and Harris. Breakfast was plentiful and delicious with a wide range of cereals and local produce (especially the bacon and sausages!). Margaret always enjoyed sharing her knowledge about interesting places to visit and restaurants in Stornoway. As a Gaelic learner... more

thoroughly enjoyed our stay here. Room was cosy and warm, breakfast was substantial with plenty of choice, lovely host and hostess who went out of their way to see that we felt welcome and were happy to share their knowledge of the island with us. Very helpful as a gaelic learner to be able to practise on my hostess who... more

We stayed with Margaret at the Seaside Villas B & B after finishing walking the West Highland Way in Scotland and enjoyed the warm hospitality and the convenient location (We had a hire car). Arriving very late from the ferry we were glad that Margaret was there to meet us. We had two double rooms for a family of 3... more

The Seaside Villa is a good place to stay and discover the surroundings. Margeret is always friendly and optimistic, and comforts you as much as she can. But if you need rest, you also will find peace in the Seaside Villa. The room was clean and comfortable, as well as the enormous spacious and good looking bathroom. We enjoyed our... more

I´ve been staying with Margret and Bill many many times since 1995. I couldn´t wish for a warmer welcome and I always feel instantly at home in this beautiful house. It´s always one of my highlights on my yearly holiday in Scotland. I´m just back from another very pleasant visit. I spent 2 nights at Seaside Villa in the upstairs... more

Our so called double ensuite room was 2 single beds put together both of which had a different base. The ensuite was toilet and sink in ensuite and shower in an alcove of bedroom. There was no extractor fan for shower and as the tea making facilities shelf was right next to shower, the tea bags got damp each time... more

Stayed here for 4 nights in August with our dog! We could not have had a better, more friendly welcome! Our room was excellent and the breakfast superb! We were told to come and go as we pleased, and were treated like friends. Margaret even offered to "babysit" the dog whilst we went out for a meal! The only problem... more

MY wife & I stayed for 2 nights at Seaside Villa this summer and we just loved everything about the stay. The ensuite room was ground floor, nicely decorated, comfortable, with easy access to the room. The breakfasts were outstanding and you must make sure and try the Black Pudding, it's the best!!! Stornoway is just a few minutes away from... more
