This quaint two-guest-room B&B ticks most of the boxes: warm and friendly proprietor - check; good breakfast - double check (the breakfasts were truly excellent!!); cozy and comfortable rooms - check (and they had a great view of the harbor!). Bathroom was a little small and rustic, but very clean, and that was pretty much what we expected so no... More

Lynn has set the bar for all B&B experiences. Lynn herself was warm, bubbly, and right on target. She made my boyfriend and I feel like family in her home and took care of us - even when we almost had no way of transporting our precious whiskey home! Her home was cozy and perfectly laid out, quiet even though... More

We spent a week at this lovely B&B over Easter, and felt so well looked after and relaxed. The cosy, clean rooms are well equipped with comfy beds, lovely linen, very well stocked tea and coffee making facilities and pretty view. There was also a hairdryer and bottle opener. Lynn was a wonderful hostess, and those breakfasts set us up... More

We spent a week with Lynn at The Oystercatcher two years ago and were happy that she was able to book us for our second stay. Lynn is delightful and made us feel like part of her family while giving us all the privacy we wanted. My husband, adult son and I booked both rooms so the second floor was... More

Had a very enjoyable week-end, the food and accommodation were excellent and Lynn was very helpful and friendly. It is ideally located for distilleries, American monument and Kildalton Cross. Ann & John. .

Stayed for two nights at the Oystercatcher. What a great B&B and Lynn was a delightful host. The Room was quite large very clean and tidy, sea views and the decor really made me feel like i was in a fishing village. Lynne's breakfasts are the biggest I have ever had, who needs lunch. Will recommend to anyone and will... More

My Fiancé and I stayed here as we were attending a friends wedding nearby. This was by far the best B&B I have ever been in. The room was beautiful and so so clean with a very comfortable bed. Breakfast was delicious and all freshly cooked. The owner Lynn was more than accommodating going well beyond her duties and so... More

Stayed in the self-catering cottage...everything excellent, from the hospitality of host Lynn to the quality of the accommodation itself. Attention to detail (fruit juices in the fridge, chocolate biscuits in the kitchen etc.) was top-notch. Really can't recommend this highly enough, and the location is superb.

Cycling friend and I stayed for 2 nights at the self-catering cottage which is also managed by Lynn and a few yards further down from the B & B. Recently refurbished to a very high standard, we felt very lucky to have chosen to stay here having booked at short notice. The interior is beautiful and every detail has been... More
