I would not recommend this hotel to anyone. I paid £35 per. night for a single room and expected a warm clean room – I got neither. The hotel staff were extremely pleasant and accomodating, and foolishly i thought we had hit the right button,but this did not hide the fact that the hotel, if it were an animal would have been put down years ago for having distemper. Being geologists, we're well used to dirt, shoddy conditions, & roughing it, but only while we're actually out in the field, NOT inside our (rather overpriced) acommodation.
