Just came back from a holiday on Islay and stayed at the Maltman's Cottage for 9 nights. What can I say: it was just great! The cottage provides everything one could possibly need: toaster, microwave, water heater for tea, dishwasher, washing machine, hug fridge/freezer. The kitchen and the living room might get a bit tight if 6 people were living... More

I've had the great pleasure of staying in the Old Bakery and another of the cottages, the name of which slips my mind. They were wonderful and added to the magic of the island. All of the distillery staff are the nicest and friendliest people you could hope to meet and definitely add to the stay. Breathtaking views across the... More

Stayed at the Distillery House. We got in after hours. They left us detailed instructions on how to get the keys, which was flawless. Everything was clean and comfortable. If I had a second home I don't think it would be this nice! I will definitely stay there again next time I go to Islay.

We had such fun! Stayed in the 1 bedroom Mashman cottage which was lovely. Fabulous scenery and few local 'hotels' that have public bars. Thoroughly enjoyed visiting the distilleries..cottage was 1st class. Not sure what you'll do if you don't golf, twitch, walk, fish, like whisky or enjoy photography but the isle of islay is glorious

We stayed in the old bakery which sleeps 14 as there were 13 of us, parents, sons, daughters and grandchildren . Went there for a 100th birthday week.= 1 @ 70 plus 1 @ 30. Any excuse really. It was over 20 degrees C the whole week and did not rain which, given that it should have, may lead you... More

Recently stayed in the Stillman's Cottage. We loved it! All the comforts of home and a beautiful garden to sit in the evenings to enjoy your complimentary bottle of 12 year old Bowmore! The staff at Bowmore was great to deal with. Everything is within walking distance. We will be back.

This was the accommodation for the Rabbie's Tour of Islay. It has four bedrooms sleeps eight or nine. Has a lounge and kitchen/dining area. It is well appointed, though we only used the facilities to sleep, for breakfast and drinks in the evening. It is relaxing and I would definitely consider renting one of the cottages if I go back... Visited Islay on a Rabbies tour and stayed at the cottages. They were superb. En-suite in every room, fully fitted kitchen to the highest standards and lovely bedroom. The tour was great and the driver, Ruth, was wonderful. All in all a great break.

Top notch accommodation. Spec was superb, and spacious. Quality fittings , and well appointed kitchen. Fantastic location centrally in town. 2 min walk to the pub, Co-op supermarket, Quay, Chippie, and of course, the distillery. Good WIFI and super comfy beds. If you want to do all the other distilleries, and don't want to drive, the bus literally stops outside... More

We stayed in the Maltman cottage for 2 nights celebrating a family members 40th. On arrival there was a complimentary 12yr bottle of Bowmore which was a nice touch. Bedrooms were lovely and all en suite. Cottage was clean & well equipped. Would definitely recommend staying here. There was also a complimentary tour of the distillery which was excellent!
