My husband and I stayed here for a one night break in July. We arrived at four in the afternoon and the door was locked as we hadn't realised that it shut between three and five. This wasn't a problem as the door was answered and we were shown straight to our room. The room, which was a double, was... More

Dog- friendly, child-friendly, pub grub excellent, gastro pub food good. Worth a visit. Kippen is a good base for foodies on any budget. Also nice walks in the immediate vicinity. Don't use the bypass!!!

This was our third time at The Cross Keys. My fiance and I came for a one night stay to celebrate the end of his final exams. After a day in the Queen Elizabeth Forest, followed by a nap, we went down for dinner. I had cullen skink and lamb tagine, my fiance had pork. Every dish was absolutely delicious... More

The Cross Keys is an adorable pet friendly Bed and Breakfast on the Main Street in Kippen. The owners Debbie and Brian are wonderful people! Brian is a phenomenal chef and also made some great recommendations of the local sites in the area. Our room had a great view of the country side, it was clean and minimalistic, which crisp... More

Stayed here for one night on a voucher deal with my partner and our two dogs. For once I was an embarrassingly demanding guest - changed date of stay, asked for change of room and requested tea facilities in the room. They could not have been more helpful and cheerful about all of these. The food in the evening was... More

Would agree with all the other positive reviews. Nice cosy pub for a Winter's night, food was good, beer was good (I had a real ale from St Andrews) and the staff were friendly. It's child friendly too. I'd certainly come back here again.

Needed a well earned chilled night away.....and this was the perfect venue in the picturesque village of Kippen. Arrived at 2 pm and was delighted with the character and charm of the inn and the friendliness of the staff. Had a delicious meal in front of the open fire, complimented by a few glasses of chilled Sauvignon Blanc. This was... More

This was our second visit to the Cross Keys and we were not disappointed. We were in a small twin room which was cosy and comfortable. We had a few beers in the bar before having a very enjoyable meal with good wine. Breakfast was excellent and the staff were friendly. We will be back.

Love this pub! Delicious food, great atmosphere, friendly service. We had lunch here with family - our relatives stayed here while we stayed elsewhere in Kippen since there are only three rooms. We have stayed here in the past and would certainly recommend it for a perfect country Scottish pub experience.
