Had a lovely time in the lodges also enjoyed a meal and some drinks in the castle. The views are amazing and brought back memories of my first visit 35 years ago as a child. Plenty to do and many places to visit.

My friends got married here on Saturday 16th August 2014 and i felt like i had to leave a review so that anyone considering getting married here does so immediately! The whole day was perfect from the beautiful settings, the sumptuously decorated Galbraith Hall to the gorgeous food (seriously the best food i've eaten at a wedding, the haggis and... More

I thoroughly enjoyed my 1 night stay and cannot recommend the Culcreuch Castle Hotel highly enough! In a beautiful peaceful location, the hotel cannot be faulted. The public rooms, such as the drawing room, were furnished just as one would expect from a Scottish castle and were relaxing and peaceful. The bedrooms were very comfortable and well equipped with all... More

The castle is in a lovely spot and great location to base for seeing loch lomond and the trossachs. The staff are very friendly and helpful, we stayed in the biggest room at top floor, very peaceful and relaxing. The restaurant in the dungeons is enjoyable too. Only downside is nothing to do at the castle and the shower did... More

Culcreuch Castle stay was a surprise for my husband. We had to stay in a castle one night on our 3 week tour of Great Britain & Ireland. We stayed in the spacious Baron's Suite with a comfy 4 poster bed, large sofa with a coffee table, television & vanity set. The bathroom was very spacious with a large tub &... More

We spent a night at Culcreuch for a birthday treat and stayed in the Chinese room. This is located in the oldest part of the castle and is decorated with silk hand painted wall paper from the 17th C. The castle is full of old paintings and antiques and furniture. We enjoyed hearing about the history and exploring the dungeon... More

Great food - a bit of a drive from the southside of Glasgow but once you get there you forget all about that. After eating our meals we had a little look around grounds which we lovely. Would recommend the food to all our friends and are plaining a trip back again in august to try their formal dinner menu.... More

After having a wonderful time 5 years ago at my nieces wedding,My husband and myself (we live locally) decided to have a meal there last night,on the way to visiting my sister in Kippen. I'm afraid standards in the food have dropped dramatically, We decided to have starters and main course from the specials menu. My husband had melon and... More

Visited last weekend for dinner. Lovely drive over the campsies into Fintry on a pleasant summer evening. Hadn't eaten here for a number of years, and to be honest, last few times, despite the beautiful setting, the food was a little too pubby for my taste. Well, not on this visit. The setting as stunning as ever, but the food... More

My boyfriend and I stayed here on 11th April 2014. I loved every moment of it. We were treated to a superb afternoon tea and glass of bubbly upon arrival by a kind member of staff. We can't remember her name (sorry!) but she let us have a peek in the wallpaper room as no guests were staying. We dined... More
