We stopped for a coffee and refreshments. The guy behind the bar was very friendly and helpful. There was a group of musicians in and they were great - which made for a great post new year atmosphere. Had great pint of local 'Kippen' ale Fallen - just the ticket. I confess to not knowing if the ale is called... More

Stopped in here for a couple of pints after a Sunday hillwalking trip to the Campsies. Nice welcoming pub with good own brew real ale and great live music. Could have stayed all afternoon but had to get back Edinburgh! Hope to be back again soon.

My brother and I were driving through Fintry today when we came accross this place. We odered various starters and various mains. All were excellent and gererous in portions which we like :) . The staff were really friendly, professional and attentive so well done the staff. It was snowing slightly outside but their fire was building up nicely so... More

A cold wet Sunday, but a good lunch, a blazing log fire and a cheerful band of musicians to brighten our spirits ! I had the chicken and leek pie - a real pie with a nice light touch on the pastry. My grand daughter and her grandfather pronounced the cullen skink very tasty. Pleasant service, homely ambiance and spotlessly... More

I was holding a ceilidh event in the Fintry Hall last week, I needed to cater for 100 hungry dancers. I was recommended the Fintry Inn. They were very helpful and collaborative helping me to put together the best plan for feeding everyone. We decided a cold buffet was the best option. The chef Kevin supplied a menu which was... We visited as a family of 4 for Sunday evening meal. The bar staff were lovely and made us feel really welcome. The food was fabulous. Two of our party had the Roast Ham Salad from the specials board. It was delicious. One had sausage and mash which he said was magic and the other had the Scottish burger with... More

Thank you for taking the time to write a review. We are sorry that you felt that you were made to feel 'non-local' - we have a motto above the bar which states "enter a stranger leave a friend" and that sentiment is reflected in a large number of the on-line reviews. In addition a vast majority of our custom... More

We dropped in for an early dinner. We were made to feel very welcome in this friendly local. The food was fantastic - small but perfectly formed menu - both dishes we tried were great - home made tomato sauce was an added bonus. We will be back soon - please don't take the garlic mushroom and hallumi burger off... More

We were staying nearby & stopped off for our evening meal. We were pleasantly surprised to see several vegetarian items in the menu. The good was delicious. It had been cooked from fresh and there was plenty of it. The staff were friendly & the place is well decorated. Well worth a visit.
