We were staying nearby & stopped off for our evening meal. We were pleasantly surprised to see several vegetarian items in the menu. The good was delicious. It had been cooked from fresh and there was plenty of it. The staff were friendly & the place is well decorated. Well worth a visit.

took a drive with my wife to The Fintry Inn, just over the Campsie Hills north of Glasgow. We arrived after 3pm In the middle of a music session with fiddles, guitars and song. I later found out it's on every Sunday from 2pm. Soft drinks are priced at £1.20 very reasonable and food prices are no more than £10... More

My friend and I decided to make the best of the beautiful weather and took a drive from Falkirk to Fintry. Our route took us through the Carron Valley with fantastic scenery over the Carron Reservoir, with a backdrop of hills and forests. We went to the Fintry Inn for our evening meal and enjoyed every minute of our visit.... More

Turned up after a long day travelling....but the chef had to go off and they could not get a replacement....so my review is based on the fact that I couldn't get food, rather than the food itself. If fairness the chap on the bar sad very apologetic.....but I still did not get fed!

Staying nearby for a wedding and called in here for lunch. Without a shadow of a doubt the best steak and ale pie I've ever had - no gaps, completely filled with top quality steak! Micro-brewery on site too, though not many options for real ale. Good decor - quite modern. Pool table. Great value all round.

Have not been to the restaurant for at least a year as they had stopped doing midweek lunches and evening meals but we took the chance on a Friday evening recently and they are back to a seven day lunch and dinner operation. Unfortunately the menu is limited but we were told that a new summer menu is about to... More
