Our staff decided on the Royal Hotel for the Christmas party and cabaret act after seeing their flyer (the flyer turned out to be wrong and really this should have been our first indication of how things were going to go!) £35 to £50 later we arrived and settled into our seats and were told promptly by the DJ that... Went for an overnight with my fiance and found the hotel a bit dated. The staff were friendly and helpful. The breakfast was lovely. The hotel rooms though require an upgrade. The hotel is easily enough to find as it sits on the main road running through Bridge of Allan. I would recomend this hotel if your on a tight... More

We decided to book this hotel for an overnight (16/1/15) , the hotel itself is easy enough to find as its on the main road that runs through bridge of allan. We checked in about 4pm, staff are really friendly and the rooms are a good size and clean. We had a table booked for dinner at a restaurant up... More

My parents treated myself and wife to afternoon tea here back in November and all 4 of us were disapointed with the service we received. We were shown into the dining room and the waitress seemed more interested in clearing away the lunch time buffet. We received our sandwiches cakes and scones tea and coffee but had to ask for... Friendly, obliging, polite staff. Very big rooms ( inc. bathroom ). Dog friendly. Excellent breakfast-a lot of choice. Excellent location. Nice and clean. Large, comfortable bed. Easy parking. Easy wifi. Very many pluses. One or two minuses. Room wasn't very well lit. Had to keep blind down in the bathroom as no frosted glass and overlooked. Dinner was ok. No... More

We were at the Royal Hotel for our Christmas Night out on 13th December 2014. I'm from Bridge Of Allan, so i was pleased to hear we were keeping it local. We started off by getting our starters, which, an all fairness were good. My manager had taken the tokens up to the bar to get the drinks in, and... More

The entrance of the venue was beautifully decorated. Very festive and welcoming. When we got into the room where the Murder Mystery Event was taking place, the heating was not on and the room was exceptionally cold. Most people had to sit with their coat on for well over an hour. The bar was not well manned to start off... More
