We stayed here over Christmas due to visiting family nearby. We found the staff to be very friendly. The room was nice (although our toilet was a bit dodgy and didn't always flush properly). Free wi-if was available. Breakfasts were delicious.

Just spend a night at the Strathaven Hotel and would highly recommend it. The staff were friendly and very helpful and food was lovely too. It is not an overly modern hotel but is clean and tidy and well looked after. Will be back again in the summer.
