I stayed for four nights at this beautiful and nice hotel during my first visit in Scotland. The guestrooms and public areas had a nostalgic atmosphere all beautifully decorated. The guestrooms were spacious. The hotel was all over clean and thanks to the friendly staff who made us feel like home and welcome. The spa and fitnessroom were also very... More

One night stay - Welcome at front of house, ok nothing exceptional. Porterage offered to room, routine nothing exceptional. Room was spacious and clean, good quality bedding usual amenities, however toilet would not flush adequately to clear waste, reception advised - repair carried out, but left with water around the WC and grit on the floor and wash hand basin.... We Stayed as a couple Sunday 29th March and I suppose I had high expectations having looked forward to staying here for nearly a year. The Hotel is beautiful and you can read all about its history in a room not far from reception. We upgraded with and extra £25 on advice from other reviewers here to a corner room... More

Booked for my husbands 50th birthday for two couple, golf and spa break. I booked by telephone and was not made aware of any refurb and the closure of the clubhouse. I was made aware by confirmation email after the payment was taken. I booked a superior sea view room and it was lovely. Great bath!! The evening meal was... More

During a week long self catering trip to south Ayrshire I decided to treat my wife to a visit to Trump Turnberry for afternoon tea. I had paid a personal visit two days previously to book and to explain that my wife had dietary requirements. On the day we were nobly welcomed by doorman Jim Berry who is a delightful... More

Turnberry hotel sits on a ridge overlooking the Firth of Clyde. Ailsa Craig , Arran, and Davaar are generally visible. With good eyesight and clear visibility Ireland can also be spotted. It is an imposing white building built by Scottish craftsmen in 1906. When you arrive, you are given a warm welcome by the concierge team. Jim Berry, Kenny Ingram... More

You have to WANT to go to this resort to get there. Perhaps you're a golfer (or married to one) or perhaps you want to have STUNNING wedding photos to look at for the rest of your life....either way you're going to have to work to get to this gloriously unique resort. (Unless you have a helicopter. There are 2... More

I think this is a bit of a work in progress now Donald Trump has bought the place, the staff are fabulous and attentive, the spa facilities are very good as are the bar, restaurant etc, the breakfast is great but other than a bed which was huge with high quality linens, the bedroom (other than the ocean view from...
