Stayed here prior to golf at Turnberry, perfect position just a few minutes from the golf club. Our room was very comfortable ( looked as though recently renovated). The staff were very friendly & efficient. The food was excellent far better than I was expecting for what we paid for our DBB stay.

This endeavour is very interesting. It is an hotel and also a very pleasant care home but it also has a restaurant open to residents and to the passing public. Our meal was pleasant enough in a very homely Scottish way. Service was friendly. It reminded me of high tea without the bread and butter and cakes in Scottish tea... More

Party of 4 for dinner. As has been said, friendly, cheap, generous plates. I took the Oxtail "soup of the day" and it was full of meat and veg, perhaps the stock was added but a great soup. My open pastry topped beef pie was full of good meat. Bar service was fine and the young staff very pleasant. We took a... More

This hotel overlooks the sea in this small coastal village. As described by others it is part hotel and part a residential home. However, it is very well appointed, and very accessible. Friendly reception, and a simple check in. Bedroom was simple but had everything you would expect. TV, tea and coffee making facilities, chairs, desk etc. The bed was... More

We spent a long weekend In Malin Court and were treated extremely warmly by all the hotel staff. What a wonderful friendly place it was. The bedrooms were cosy with nice views and a bit of tradition. Food was also extremely tasty with a great hearty breakfast to start the day. But the location.... WOW! It's beautiful with wonderful views... More

Great hotel, unusually combined with care home for older people, but a relaxer, friendly and warm hotel.... Staff can't do enough for you, the food is good and the views and surroundings are stunning... If you want fuss free , chilled break on a beautiful backdrop with great walks and beaches then come here..

We arrived for our one night stay and were warmly welcomed. Our room was on the first floor with nice views out onto the landscaped gardens. It was clean and well appointed with everything we needed. It was also very quiet as it was set well back from the road. The wifi was very good and accessible in our room.... More

The first thing to point out is that this hotel is also a small private care home for a few OAPs in need of some TLC. Lovely small hotel offering nice rooms at a very reasonable price and the OAP residents were all very chatty and pleasant which added to my stay. Very good food in restaurant and I enjoyed... More
