Being an avid gardener I absolutely loved touring the grounds and gardens here. The borders were stunning in the walled garden and the Castle was magnificent...especially the view over the water. We had lunch in the café and the soup was very tasty. Nice gift shop and walkways to explore. Toured the interior and enjoyed talking to the knowledgeable guides.... More

We booked the Eisenhower apartment with 5 other couples for my 40th birthday celebrations. From the moment we arrived to the moment we left the whole experience was magical. The staff were attentive when needed but were mostly invisible, it was like having the castle to ourselves. Best time ever!

I've been visiting Culzean Castle for many years now since my first trip in primary school, & i still find places or interesting things i never found on a previous trip, Although i must admit my days of exploring the smugglers caves, or taking the one of the many long walks have kinda been pushed aside for more relaxing things... What a lovely place to visit. Views to the isle of Arran is wonderful. Lots of lovely walks and the eatery serves wholesome food. A lovely place to take your dog. Unfortunately Lethe castle was closed, but I guess they do not get many visiters during the week in winter. May national trust property, it is really well looked after.

For half term my wife, two daughters and I went to stay in the Royal Artillery Cottage at Culzean Castle, a matter of 100ft from the Castle itself. I proposed to my wife at the castle, we got married there, returned for our tenth anniversary, but this was the first time we had taken our children. We had a fabulous... More

We had a visit to the castle, after paying £15 each to get in the whole experience was very disappointing, There was no wow factor it just looked a very tired old building with lots of old upkept furniture( I do realise this is an old building etc) but no splendour or lavish items you would expect from a castle... We where booked to stay with two friends for two nights and it was one of the most pleasurable holiday experiences we have ever had. We arrived in the afternoon and the drive through the grounds and up to the castle is breathtaking in itself. We where greeted at the front of the castle by a member of staff and... More

Wonderful simply wonderful. The location, the rooms, the staff, the food, everything was sublime. Honestly the best place i have ever stayed and i can't wait to return! It felt like a home away from home but better! The gardens of culzean are a sight to behold as well as the apartments. A Dream come true!

This place is simply delightful. Position, rooms, food quality, hospitality and attention to details are top notch. The staff is exceptionally kind and friendly, highly efficient and professional. A stay you'll never forget. Highly recommended. Cristiano Rando, Vicenza, Italy.
