This is one of the most beautiful castles that I have ever seen. I was with a group of 88 American women this past week. The beauty of the curving stairs and entry way with the largest collection of USED weapons, and the views of the Irish Sea were amazing. The history of the top floor being reserved for General... We enjoyed our visit to Culzean Castle, it is very good, we visited last year and enjoyed it so we decided to visit again. The castle is very interesting. The restaurant at the visitor centre served excellent food. We took our 86 year old uncle with us, he is quite mobile, but he was greatly helped by the Culzean bus,... More

Stayed here the night before my daughters wedding and had a fantastic relaxing time, lovely meal the evening before. The staff were fantastic and could not do enough for us, especially Billy who is a total star. Not a cheap venue obviously but for a special occasion could not recommend it highly enough. The sunshine was a bonus as well,... More

I had always known of the Eisenhower suite on the top floor of Culzean, where there are 6 rooms accommodating guests who are lucky enough to know of it and book early! While the Eisenhower room itself was more money than I wanted to spend ( we saw all the rooms!), we had a large and comfortable room overlooking the... More

My husband and I chose this property as a splurge on our trip to Scotland. It was worth every bit of the charge to stay at this beautiful National Trust property. The castle is open to the public during the day, but after hours you get to experience the ambiance of this property without the sound of other visitors. It... More

We had an amazing stay and felt very special being one of only two parties staying for the night. Our silver service banquet dinner was lovely and the rooms very special with the four poster bed we felt like king and queen for a night, the 45 acres of gardens and woods were fantastic to stretch the legs. Well worth... More

Wow, beautiful grounds and the gardens. Kids were very happy as they had unlimited space to runaround. Amazing views, very nice cafe and really very clean all over. Great day out. We were very lucky to have a bright sunny day to help us enjoy our visit

This was the first of 5 locations on our family trip. The Eisenhower Apt was fantastic! Arrived super early (at 9a) and after only an hour the staff had our rooms ready. Everyone was so nice and helpful. I would absolutely suggest for an overnight or two stay! Not much to do off the grounds, but to relax.

Thank you Billy, David, and Ian for an exceptional stay at Culzean Castle. This was my daughter-in-law's birthday and you made it so special for her. Ian...thank you for the tour..after hours even! Billy, thank you for the map to the distillery. The gardens and the service were perfect. Every one should make reservations to eat dinner there because it... More

My family was a bit museum and city-fatigued from touring London, Edinburgh and Glasgow ... so we hired a driver and toured an hour from Glasgow the the amazing work of art known as Culzean Castle. The first hint is at the welcome center where you see a bit of the castle on the cliff up the shore. You then... More
