We had a wonderful stay at the Queens Hotel (Jun 15). Thank you very much Faye for making us feel welcome. The Queens Hotel has that wonderful feeling of stepping back in time and giving you that yesteryear feeling. A very quiet, clean and comfortable room. Wonderful breakfast. A very nice B&B. Paul and Carmel.

A warm welcome is assured at this hotel. Very comfortable, clean and the food is well so good. Highly recommend it. We go there every year for the folk festival and it is head and shoulders above any competition.

Fantastic base to walk the Ayrshire trail. Hotel rooms are generously sized, well stocked and little extras like toothbrush, biscuits, teas, coffees etc show the staff like to go the extra mile. Breakfast options are great and you won't leave hungry! Well stocked bar and wood burner are just the icing on the cake after a long walk. Bus routes... More

Fay and the rest of the staff are fantastic. Great breakfast (huge). The rooms are lovely and spacious. The bar is character filled including the 13 year old Yorkie. Don't be put off by the exterior (a little bit tired), the interior is really nice.

A hidden gem tucked away close to the town center. Warm and friendly welcome. Spotless and very well appointed bedrooms. Cosy well stocked bar with real log fire. Superb cooked breakfast. Excellent value. Don't be put off by the external appearance. This hotel is well worth a stay in this seaside town

Well having travelled 500 miles at short notice I was well and truly in need of a decent nights kip, did a quick search of hotels and guest houses and The Queens was nearest. Found it centrally located in the village of Girvan, walked into the hallway and found the place packed with a function on the go..to be honest... More

Stayed here for a couple of nights - rooms were lovely, great friendly atmosphere in the bar and the breakfast was one of the best I have had in any hotel. Amazing value for money and struggling to find anything even remotely negative to say. Stayed in a few hotels in and around Girvan and this is BY FAR the... More

Stayed here for one evening whilst doing the Ayrshire Coastal Path walk. Staff were friendly and attentive on arrival. Nice décor and a homely bar beside the reception area. Free wifi, usual tea/coffee facilities. Room was large and had en-suite bathroom. All for an excellent price, I was very pleased with everything on offer. The barman did mention that the... More
