We have eaten here a couple of times now and never had any complaints. Locally sourced food cooked to perfection. we have been served by the same young chap on both occasions.. Very friendly and always making sure we had drinks etc. Lovely place for some local tasty grub.

Booked one night in a sea view room for my wife and I. Staff very pleasant on arrival and the room we got was massive, clean and very modern with a nice view across the road to the sea. The accommodation is all on ground level and the room actually felt like a small bungalow. The bar restaurant area was... More

Stayed quite a few times now (handy for ferry) and never been disappointed. Huge, spotlessly clean, well appointed rooms with everything you need (if you are reading this Michael, can you replace the cups and saucers on the hospitality tray with MUGS, much more contemporary). Very comforable bed, great shower with plenty of hot water. We'll be seeing you again.

We stayed here in 2012 and decided to return after getting an e-mail offering a special deal. Once again, we enjoyed a lovely 2 day stay, using the hotel as a base for hill walking and trips to Stranraer etc. The rooms are spacious, modern and well furnished with all facilities as you would expect. The rooms appear to be... More

Title says it all, really. A very peaceful stay, despite being right on the A77. Magnificent views to Arran, Ailsa Craig and Mull of Kintyre Accommodation excellent: good attention to detail. Included meals were excellent. Only gripe would be low water pressure in the shower.

This is a motel style hotel where your room opens into the outside world. Our room (1) was spacious. There is free WiFi with no password. The bed was very large and comfortable, with impeccable laundry. A few cracked tiles in the bathroom let the room down a little, but no big deal. Dinner was good and breakfast was the... More

My husband and I stayed for two nights in a seaview room to celebrate our 35th Wedding Anniversary. Michael and his team went above and beyond to make our stay memorable. Can highly recommend the food as everything from breakfast to dinners was first class! Loved the way the bar and restaurant although close together are divided so you could... More
