The room is incredibly clean with a very comfortable double bed. Large amounts of sunlight come in through large windows which look out onto the coast! Water provided, tea and coffee, hairdryer, TV etc all make for a very enjoyable stay! The best part of this hotel is the fantastic staff who are more than helpful and friendly! The breakfast... Great hotel, friendly staff, spotlessly clean, rooms are based around a courtyard which you have to cross to get to the restaurant for breakfast etc which is actually far nicer than staying at a standard hotel, we were upgraded to one of the cottages which had two bedrooms and a living room, it was lovely with views of the sea.... Stayed for one night on a trip up Scotland's West Coast. We received a warm welcome and were shown to a large, clean and comfortable room. We were concerned about road noise, but when we closed the double glazed windows to settle down for sleep this wasn't an issue. Food at dinner and breakfast was very good, service as excellent.... There are not many hotels that we would return to as we like to visit different places but this hotel is the exception. We stayed in a superior sea view room which was a big, spotless room with lovely sea views. What makes this hotel is the excellent very friendly staff and the food was amazing. Would definitely go back... More

When we arrived in Cairnryan, on the evening ferry from Belfast, we were wondering where we would stay overnight. As we travelled north, we came across the Woodlands Bay Hotel, just before Girvan. We received a warm welcome from the owner Michael, and were shown to a beautiful room. The room had all mod cons, plenty of toiletries, towels and... More

We stayed here for a long weekend break,Friday 19th- Monday 22nd. Have to say the location and views are absolutely beautiful, we had a sea view room and spent evenings with a glass of wine watching the sun go down. Our room was spotless and very comfortable. The staff were extremely friendly and very welcoming, big thanks to all the... More

This is a great wee hotel, with huge rooms, and massive double beds, and a big shower. The fittings are all modern and well thought out. The staff are also all friendly, and seem to have a few minutes to crack a joke, or help with local advise. But the star of the show has to be the Food. This... More

Large comfortable rooms with above average bathrooms. Motel style layout with plenty of parking but you need to know which room you are in before finally parking your car. Good service at the small bar and an excellent included breakfast. All in all highly recommended
