We felt really at home here. Cosses Country House is tucked away out of sight of the road and right from the start we were able to relax in the beautiful garden. Our accommodation consisted of 3 rooms - living room, bedroom and really spacious bathroom. Although we hadn't experienced Wolsey Lodges style hospitality before (sharing all meals with other... We visited toward the end of a 3 week tour, mostly of Scotland, and frankly I was getting a bit worried as we wandered farther and farther from the main road down a well-maintained, but quite unpopulated secondary road. Would this be some sort of not-so-good experience in an otherwise wonderful vacation? Short answer: this place deserves ten stars--the Iona... More

We very much enjoyed out stay at Cosses House. Although we were the only guests at the time, Susan made us feel totally at home. Dinner and breakfast were both excellent, with many ingredients from her own lovely garden. The surrounding countryside is gorgeous as well and we went for a lovely walk with help from the maps provided at... More

Far away from the maddening crowd, this is a charming and welcoming farmhouse. Very comfortable accommodation, in fact exceedingly so and Susan's cooking (Dinner and Breakfast) made this a delightful stay. We stayed with Susan at the start and end of our holiday in Scotland and it really made our trip a memorable one. It was the first time we... More

We booked Cosses Country House because it was a convenient overnight stop on our return journey from a car rally in Mull and didn't realise then what a marvellous experience awaited us. On arrival we hardest the warmest of welcomes by Susan our hostess and were just in time for afternoon tea in the garden with her home made Victoria... More

I'm a bit late writing this review and I would have struggled to remember the finer details so it was nice to read other recent comments about this wonderful guest house. I wholeheartedly support what others have said and couldn't have described our stay any different. We came to stay here because our visitng Australian relatives wanted to capture Burns... More

We spent two nights at Cosses Country House whilst visiting Scotland and I have to say wow. We were in the Iona Suite with its enormous bedroom, wonderfully fitted bathroom and front room. We would strongly recommend you take dinner when you stay here. Dinner is served about 7pm where you meet in the living room (complete with crackling open... More
