We stayed at Copper Beech B&B for three nights while attending a wedding and playing some golf.

This is an immaculate house, with lovely rooms, bathrooms and an excellent home made breakfast.

The owner, Norma, has wonderful Scottish charm so if you are looking for a slice of Scotland, rather than just a hotel room, this place is fabulous. Norma has lived in Troon most of her life and plays a lot of golf so can advise on all the golf courses, nice drives, good restaurants, and everything else in the area.

The location is central, you can walk everywhere within 10 minutes or so. We booked by phoning directly, which was useful as otherwise we probably wouldn't have known how busy the courses are and which ones are best.

One of the best bed and breakfasts I have ever stayed in, felt just like (a posher, nicer) home! more
