Lochgreen House must be the best hotel in Troon. I knew about it but had never stayed there. The rooms were huge and well appointed. If I have one criticism, the beds are a bit too hard for my liking and the duvet not soft and fluffy! I only say that because the bed I stayed in the night before... More

We stayed here for a wedding in August 2014 for 2 nights. Upon arrival, we were very impressed with the grounds and the welcome. Our room was not quite ready, so we had a drink in the bar, a lovely cosy room with fireplace and 'Malt Room'. As there were a large party of us, we were impressed to find... More

We stayed in this hotel overnight and were pleased with the large room overlooking the garden but were kind of glad it was drizzly outside ! as otherwise our privacy would have been compromised as I'm sure the gardens would have been full of guests who were attending a wedding in the hotel. I think it should be stressed this... More

This hotel is excellent in summer or winter. The restaurant is a pleasure to dine in and the food is superb .The staff are all very helpful. We have dined there often for dinner and light lunch and have never found anything to complain about. We have stayed one night there and the room we had and breakfast was excellent.

Just stayed at lochgreen for 1 night with husband and 2 children (3 year old and 1 year old) and had a wonderful visit. All the staff are exceptional (in particular we met the receptionists and head waiter) and the rooms are huge and very luxurious. The grounds are stunning and the food was delicious. In response to the reviews... More

This is a fabulous hotel, with the most beautiful grounds, scrumptious food, and the bedrooms are just stunning! They have done a really great job converting what was a family home. Attended a family wedding and wasn't quite sure what to expect but the hotel facilities and staff were top class. If you are in the area you should pay... More

My wife and I got married in this hotel so we may be a bit biased. Whilst not for the everyday diner this is a superb hotel for a special occasion. The hotel itself is situated in magnificent gardens with views overlooking the Firth of Clyde and the Isle of Arran. The hotel is staffed by very friendly and attentive... More

I have been staying for many years at The Marines along the 18th on Royal troon but on this trip my local friends told me to try this hotel and I wish they will have told me this before. This is a great place, the service the moment you arrive at the front desk is so friendly, the room I... More

Spent two nights here for a friend's wedding and had a fabulous experience. The room was enormous and well appointed with a large outdoor area complete with table and chairs overlooking adjacent Troon golf course and the sea. The staff were extremely helpful and courteous at all times and the wedding itself went off without a hitch. Obviously a lot... More

Recently had my birthday lunch with family here. To me, there is nowhere else that I would rather eat in. The food as usual was fantastic and the staff were very attentive looking after us. This is such a lovely place to have any celebration and was the highlight of my birthday. I would thoroughly recommend anyone wanting a superb... More
