This was a lovely hotel. They made us very welcome. Our twin bed room was spacious, warm and comfortable. The hotel is situated a 5 minute walk from the beach. Dinner in their lovely conservatory/restaurant was great value for money. We would most definitely recommend this hotel.

This is a 'traditional' hotel that offers great service and value for money at £65 B&B for two sharing. We were in Troon using this as a quick stopover and it was excellent for that purpose. The room that we stayed in had been redecorated and was clean and comfortable. The staff were extremely attentive although it was very quiet... More

was visiting Scotland and wanted to do both Glasgow and Edinbough and with a friend living close by in Troon decided to book a hotel there, was not dissapointed the room large overlooking the water and although no lifts the staff were more than happy to take up bags, was lovely being able to taste some black pudding and haggis... Was wedding quest at this hotel, first impression was tired decor, it looked and felt like a care homelThe staff were friendly but had long wait at the bar. I think the owners could make more of this hotel.

We stopped here on a Sunday night on our way to Carradale on Kintyre. the hotel is excellent with large comfortable rooms, the meals were excellent and the staff friendly and helpful. The only negative was the room location. We had ground floor room at the back which smelt of smoke when we opened the window/verandah door. This was due... More

Visiting with the family staying in a large family room. First time the children have had a bed each instead of sharing a sofa bed. Good size bathroom. Clean. Decor needs updating. Excellent menu, quite adventurous, lovely well cooked food. Surprisingly pleased. Recommend it. Also reasonable price.

I stayed here with my mother, father and grandaughter. It was excellent value for money our rooms were spotless and the food was excellent. The staff really made you feel welcome and went out of their way to meet our needs. A special mention to Karen at reception and Robbie and Martin who all made our little grandaughter feel like... Really enjoyed night out with my "local" 90 year old uncle and Auntie - Visiting from New Zealand for second time n three years and dined here by my choice both times. Food was generous and very well balanced flavours - Lots of local (Scottish) produce. Chef is doing great job and I am surprised it was not busier -... More

Stayed in this hotel recently before getting the ferry to Larne. The hotel is perfectly adequate for an overnight stay or to visit Troon. It was obvious there was a group of older people staying there for a holiday. The hotel room was perfectly fine, and the bathroom was perfectly adequate also. Breakfast was very nice, everything you would expect... More

We arrived at the hotel by chance. It has the look and feel of an 1960 style accommodation and if you get past that everything else is fine. The service is first class from the receptionist, with Bell the Chef's dog, to the bar and restaurant staff. We had a wonderful meal equal to any we had in Scotland and... More
