I stayed at the Econo Lodge over four years ago and since then they have gone through some noticeable changes. Though the rooms were clean before, they are exceptionally clean now and seem to be renovated since my last visit. The parking lot was newly paved and the lobby was clean and tidy. Check in and check out were very... More

A bit more money than i usually pay for this type of motel, but, there's not a lot in the area. Clean Motel, door's face outside to the parking lot. Great biscuits and gravy for breakfast. Super staff. Beds and rooms good to go. Clean no bugs. My second stay here on business.

Martin is a small college town without a lot of bells and whistles. With that said, do not expect a great hotel here. The Hampton Inn down the street may have a steeper price tag but its a much better stay if you need to be in Martin for a few days. The Econo Lodge is fine for a quick... More

Within seconds of walking into my room I saw roaches. Horrible rooms...dark, smelly and extremely dirty!!! Online pictures do not properly represent property. I thought by the rates they were charging it would be ok. Very misleading advertising!!! Left immediately!!!

As soon as I walked into the room, the musty odor hit me. If it hadn't been late, and I hadn't been so tired, I would have asked for another room, or left. But, I endured, even on the hard mattress and awful pillows. Then at the pitiful breakfast, I began looking for the milk. I found it in the... More

Room was musty, nasty torn curtains, dirt in the corners in the bathroom. Breakfast was ok. Stayed two nights for Martins homecoming weekend. Will never stay again. Recommend Hampton Inn instead. Nasty nasty nasty. Wi fi didnt work for me so I gave up.

This place is a dump! Do not stay here. Rooms dirty. Lights don't work. Pay the extra $$ for somewhere else. Asked them to send us something we forget (we were in a big hurry to leave) haven't seen it yet. Even gave them fed ex account number to send it.

First of all, I read reviews on TripAdvisor. The review by 320paul helped me make my decision to stay here. I was in town for a weekend function at UT Martin. I originally tried to book a room down the street at the Hampton Inn but they were full. I wanted to stay in town so I booked two nights... More

Clean room, excellent bed. Very good value for the money. I would not hesitate to stay there again. I had my doubts when I booked, but I was pleasantly surprised. I've paid much more for a worse room.

I rarely complain and am usually not hard to please but the Econolodge was a very unpleasant experience. The Bad- Bugs were horrible, black cockroach like bugs came in the room every night and were crawling around. One night we killed at least 8 in a couple hours. Nasty. There were dead bugs under the edge of the bed, see... More
