Like some regular visitors to Shetland I have stayed at the Sumburgh hotel on several occasions due to it's great location near the airport. We were on a camping trip in Shetland for two weeks in June. We did spend a few nights in the comfort of hotels though, including time at the Sumburgh Hotel. We loved it. Great location, especially to go birdwatching. Very convenient for our early flight back to the UK mainland the next morning. Would recommend it. more
