I was there for five nights on a landscape photography course. My room was compact but perfectly adequate. The radiator was on the small side so it took a wee while for the room to warm up. The facilities are all very good. The owners (and dog) were charming. The food was much better than we expected. The area and setting is wonderfull - its a shame the rooms have small windows with restricted views. The bedroom we had was cosy enough but the en-suite was chilly and sparse.

Great service, lovely dining room and lounge. Food was lovely. Dogs welcome which is handy. Log fires. Great photos on walls of wildlife. Was a really welcoming place and ideal for a good meal and some drinks after a hard day walking in b fabulous area. Very clean hotel and huge selection of whisky.
