Check-in excllent,Room 16 superb--great views and bathroom. The overall ambience is one of understated luxury and great attentive service without being intrusive. Food---could not get my first choice,but the Lobster Ravioli was a superb second.9 The West Coast is bereft of good hotels(including the currently owned Inverlochy Castle). We have stayed here on several occasions over the last 3 years, it just keeps on getting better an better. Excellent food, very attentive staff, magnificent selection of Malt Whiskies, very, very comfortable.
