We were lucky enough to stay at the Inn for just over a week. The rooms were simply but tastefully furnished and very comfortable. The location is very spectacular and was a great base for exploring the north western highlands. The service in general was excellent. We really liked the atmosphere in the bar and enjoyed working our way through... more

We stayed at the Torridon Inn for one night in October 2009, and were happy with the accommodation...a very large and quiet room with two beds and ensuite. The facilities were fairly basic, but were perfectly adequate, and the staff in the inn were friendly and accommodating. The bar has a very cozy atmosphere, and we had good food for... more

We were tipped off to The Inn by a shopkeeper on our way from Kinlochewe, where both the hotels in town turned us away because we were traveling with our 10-year-old child! Unaware that there was a more-informal side to The Torridon, we were thrilled at the spacious (and spotless) bunk-house-style room, the rustic and cozy bar and the good... more

We just stayed on night in July, but had a comfortable night and a lovely meal in the Inn restaurant, which was busy with people who had been walking in the nearby hills. Our room had a separate entrance to the main bar / restaurant, with parking directly outside. The only slight issue was the sound proofing - there was... more

Spent two nights here whilst travelling around the northwest highlands. It's a less pricey alternative to the very plush Torridon Hotel next door. Our room had been recently refurbished and was simply decorated. Beds were comfortable and it had a decent bathroom with shower and bath. If you've been out walking on the hills, or using the outdoor activity centre... more

We ate last week at the restaurant and all four of us had a very disappointing and expensive meal. Two of the beers were cloudy and had to go back. Two of us had the game casserole which was supposed to include rabbit, pheasant and venison, but was just some chunks of one type of meat (maybe venison) plonked on... more

Thank you or your review. On occasion we do not get it right and for this I apologise to you. We are proud to serve real ales from Scotland and we have a good reputation. The new menu this year has received good compliments and some negative comments. We ask all our customers via a small comment card, for which...

We probably picked the worst weekend to stay here. It was storm force weather which kept us tied to the Inn. But never mind we could eat at the Torridon Hotel - but wait, not if there is a wedding on, then it' is closed to the public! OK so we'll sit by the fire in the bar, but you... more

Thank you for your honest review from October. I am sorry you did not enjoy your visit. We have this winter refurbished the Inn with a new bar and restaurant. The hotel may at times be booked on an exclusive basis, hiring the hotel for 48 hours. This is something that we do offer and on these occasions the hotel...

We've now stayed at the Torridon Inn as well as the adjoining much more expensive Torridon Hotel and enjoyed both. The Inn accommodation is very good, with the option of being able to reserve a table in the Hotel restaurant if you fancy a more formal meal. The bistro restaurant alongside the Torridon Bar is much more informal, a lot... more

The lodge is in the grounds of an exclusive hotel, near the Loch. Accommodation is OK, breakfast also OK (but no cooked breakfast, as with other B&B bookings). Lovely grounds but watch out for the midges! This place really seems to be in the middle of nowhere but has it's own restaurant and bar on site as well as petrol... more
