Dunbius is immaculately clean & comfortable. Breakfast was very tasty and my husband's full Scottish was quite substantial. The house was so quiet I didn't realise there were any other guests until breakfast. Host was perfectly polite although neither of us knew his name until reading other reviews. Recommended as a very good B & B.

I can recommend this very friendly and comfortable B&B. I stayed there for one night and I got a very warm welcome. The Twin room ensuite was very cosy and comfortable and clean. We got nice recomnends for restaurants and what you can do in the near surrounding. The breakfast was homemade and very delicious served in a very nice... More

5 nights in Tain and the Dunbius B&B was a perfect place for us to launch from each day. The owners, Kelvin and Carole was very welcoming, offering suggestions of things to do and see as well as recommendations for meal. Our breakfasts were perfectly prepared each morning, we even tried the haggis which was very tasty. The room was... More

The B&B is set in its own grounds with ample off street parking. We received a warm welcome on arrival from Kelvin and was shown to our first floor room with views to the rear overlooking the garden and fields to the estuary. Very peaceful. The bedroom was well appointed, maybe needs a chair, with a walk in shower and... More

We stayed here while on a trip to the Highlands. Kelvin, the owner, not only recommended a brilliant Indian restaurant for dinner but wonderful places to see in and further out of Tain. The room had everything we needed, clean, warm and comfortable. This was our favourite B and B whilst on our road trip from London to Scotland. They... More

This B&B was friendly, welcoming and good value. I enjoyed my stay very much and the facilities were second to none. Think its probably one of the best nights sleep I've had in a long time! I have no hesitation in recommending and would definitely stay again when I'm next in the area. Breakfast was chosen the night before but... More

Lovely location, charming couple, charming room. comfy bed, great breakfast. Great pub nearby for evening meal. We are a mature couple on a whistle-stop tour of The Highlands. This experience made our trip more worthwhile and resulted in our having an even better experience. Thank you to the owners, both friendly, knowledgeable, helpful and charming. We will visit again.

The Dunbuis is one of the finest B&B,s we have ever stayed in the bedroom was very comfortable, spacious, bright and very clean with an excellent view over the Dornoch Firth (rear facing bedroom). our second stay at this B&B and it didn't disappoint second time round.. view from bedroom is lovely, sea in the distance, step up from the sea into fields where horses roam, jump the fence and you have cattle grazing.. over the hedge into the garden where hens and ducks wander free - the same hens who supplied our breakfast...
