We really liked this hotel even though it could do with a lick of paint here and there. If you have stayed in placed where there are not many hotels then you'll know what to expect, if you only ever stay in London's (can substitute any major city or tourist destination here) finest then you are in for a shock.... more

We reached the sea-side town of Tain in the evening of 26th. Both Allan & Tricia were present when we arrived, and gave us a very warm welcome. Stayed here for one night on a business trip and was very pleased with everything. The rooms were spacious, well heated (good on a cold November evening) and had plenty hanging space. Also had complimentary sherry, mints, a few chocolates and a selection of fruit. Hotel staff were all very friendly and keen to ensure my stay was just perfect.... more

Stayed for one night. The room we had was exceptionally comfortable and quiet and afforded us a great sleep. All the staff were very helpful and friendly.
