My husband and I have yet again spent 3 nights in late July at the wonderful Golf View House, whilst visiting friends in Tain. As usual, the hospitality from Bill and Sue was wonderful, the bedroom and its facilities excellent, and the breakfasts delicious and to die for! We've already booked again for next March/April when we will have our next... More

Comfortable and elegant place. Could park the bicycles in the garage together with other guests' golf clubs. Good bathrooms and beds. Nice stroll to the town centre. The hotel in town has a great restaurant.

What can I say? Stayed here for tain golf week, and the rooms surpassed anything I've stayed in at this level before, and indeed put some hotels to shame. Massive cooked breakfast that ensured lunch was passed over. Rooms were absolutely superb and spacious, with a modern powerful shower in the sleek bathroom. Staying in a B&B in the UK,... More

We stayed with Bill and Sue for one night and had a comfortable and enjoyable time. The rooms are spacious and the bathrooms very new, and our hosts were always helpful and forthcoming. The breakfast was delicious, we can recommend the yoghurt with fruits (something for the eye as we'll)! We are coming back next time we are in the... More

We were very lucky to find this lovely guest house by chance. It was a very pleasant surprise and proved to be just what we wanted. Everywhere was immaculate and there was a very homely feel, Bill was so friendly and welcoming. Hopefully returning in September if they have a vacancy,

Beautiful house, great choices for breakfast, in beautiful Tain. Bill is a great host, very helpful and eager to chat. Castles, distilleries and the Royal Dornoch golf course are a few minutes away. Dornoch itself is very quaint, with great antique shops. Our room was very elegant and comfortable, with a very spacious bathroom, looking very Scottish and attractive in... More

On arrival we were greeted by Bill who showed us to our immaculate room, décor to a high standard, the bathroom was large and spotless. The property is a lovely old fashioned stone house with a view down to the sea and well maintained lawn. Nice lounge area for guests to use and the breakfast in the morning was delicious.... More

As someone who travels on business a lot I can highly recommend the golf view house. This is the 2nd time I have stayed here, and on both occasions I have received a warm welcome. The rooms are spotless and have all that you require. The bathrooms are large and up to 5 star quality. The breakfast was faultless,

I stayedwith fellow golfers in June 2014 for 3 nights at Golf View House. I echo the comments of others that the B&B is spacious and spotless, the welcome warm and the breakfast very good. That said, while rooms 3, 4 and 5 have normal sized beds and are rooms with lovely views, rooms 1 and 2 are at the... More

Thank you for your review. You forgot to mention that you are six foot five tall! Most people with special requirements would contact us in advance. The FREE wifi functions perfectly in certain areas of the house(the walls are four feet thick) Why didn't you ask?!?! More
