Thoroughly enjoyed staying at the stunning Linnmhor House in Strathpeffer. Rhona and Michael were such warm and friendly hosts who made us feel so welcome throughout the weekend stay. The bedroom and en-suite were immaculate and tastefully decorated. We were delighted to see that there were fresh tulips in the room. It was lovely to come down for breakfast in... More

I really enjoyed my stay here. Rhona and Michael are such friendly hosts, you feel like part of the family. The room (I had the twin one) was very comfortable with a good bed and lovely modern shower room. The decoration is very tasteful and the log fire just lovely when it's raining outside! The breakfast is delicious and a... More

You couldn't be made more welcome than the welcome Rhona and Michael give to their guests. Their house is full of character and a lovely coal/wood fire awaits. The beds are top quality (Tempura and so comfy), and the rooms are beautifully done. Rhona's cooking is second to none (she even makes her own bread, own ice cream, jams and... More

This has got to be Scotland's premier b&b establishment. From the warm welcome on arrival, the roaring fire, the gourmet dinner (don't miss the Portobello mushroom and blue cheese starter), the luxury bedroom, the choice of original and tasty breakfasts to the outstanding "front-of-house" skills, we couldn't find anything to fault. We've booked in again for next year. Well done... More

Great welcome with very comfortable bed, superb shower and lots of space! The house is full of character and well looked after with a superb panelled dining room and log fire. We had an evening meal as well as breakfast and both were to a very high standard - beautifully prepared and presented - very tasty indeed! Much better than... More

We stayed with Rhona and Michael at their beautiful home sadly only for one night. It was the nicest place we have stayed for a long time. Nothing was too much trouble and the food was, as previous reviewers have said, amazing. They really made you feel at home and the bed was super-comfy. Fully deserving of their high praise... More

Just returned after a 3 night stay in this remarkable B&B, which is more like a 4/5 star hotel! The owners, Rhona and Michael, are charming - welcoming; efficient and providing a level of service that puts most hotels to shame. The house itself is lovely. Built in 1901, it is full of character and furnished with flair with a... More

This is a great place to stay. The house has wonderful period features and has been tastefully decorated. The dining room has lovely wood panelling and a wood fire in a traditional fireplace. The evening meal was really lovely - contemporary Scottish fare and very well cooked. Great breakfast too, with a lovely fruit salad, homemade oatmeal bread and a... More
