We have been going there for 16 years and meet up with over a dozen people every October. We all have a great time. Yes the rooms are in need of redecorating but are clean and generally warm. The mattresses are poor and we feel the springs so the staff go up and put extra blankets below and this solves... more

We had originally booked into Ben Wyvis HOtel, but it was terrible and we managed to get a double room at last minute. Couldnt have been nicer, any more helpful and room was lovely. The room was clean and comfortable and the public areas were spacious with adequate seating despite the hotel being very busy. I could not fault the food or the staff, and the rooms are spotless. For an early new year break this was fantastic value and I would definitely return. Victorian listed building. We had a shower in the bathroom, twin beds. Tea/coffee making facilities. We never used the TV in the room. The only thing missing was a phone, but what do you expect of a 2 star? It was as good as some 3 star we have stayed in! There was a choice in the menus each day.... more
