This was the best B&B that we have enjoyed in many respects! Loved the breakfasts, the cleanliness of the rooms and the privacy afforded to guests. The flap-jacks are still memorable (recipe please?!) We stayed in Torridon and Skye rooms; both were great although the shower works much better in Skye...

We stayed 2 nights at Aurora b&b. Unfortunately the weather was extremely bad during our stay (hurricane bertha), so we spent 1 day at the b&b watching films and relaxing. Ann is very kind, helpful and organized. Great breakfast and free wifi. Comfy room. Shiledaig is a small village but the location is amazing! I recommend this b&b!!

Three of us on a mountain walking holiday spent three great days at Aurora. We all loved it. Every detail was considered, and fresh bread was on the table every morning. There's a drying room for wet gear (fortunately we had fine weather, but still used the drying room for slightly damp gear on one day), wifi, a very well... More

Our bedroom was superb with a super king size bed. Ann made us very welcome right from the word go and gave us a tour of the property straight away. There is a drying room for wet boots and clothes. Fresh milk in a fridge available for all bedrooms. Ann also makes wonderful flapjack which is available at all times.... More

This was a great B&B. Ann makes you feel at home right from the start with a detailed tour of the property. Excellent 5* bedroom with walk-in wardrobe. Excellent lounge with TV, DVDs and very comfortable furniture. Supply of fresh milk at all times and excellent flapjack in a constantly refilled container. The area is superb and Ann has all... More

My friend Jana and I stayed with the lovely Ann last week. Her rooms were immaculate, her homemade flapjacks delicious and the area spectacular. I wish we had had more time to explore this hidden gem. I would recomed staying at least 2 to 3 nights. Ann is a wonderful hostess who provides delicious breakfast and a huge amount of... More

Enjoyed a superb three nights at Aurora. Every comfort you could wish for - clean, warm, excellent accommodation and hospitality. Ann provides a professional yet very homely B&B. Her home is tastefully decorated with a superb lounge - wonderful views and a cosy log burning fire. Rooms are to an equally high standard with very comfortable beds, very good tea/coffee... More

Just stayed here for 4 nights and I have to say I am totally bemused by the one bad review on this site. Accommodation is of a wonderful standard. Food is great and the fresh homemade bread (which Ann packed for my lunches), was delicious. The sitting room is a lovely feature both in terms of views, windows on three... More

Just home from our first visit to aurora and we couldn't have had a better time. We have stayed in many b & b's over the years and this one far exceeds any of the others!! I would highly recommend Aurora to any of our family or friends. Fantastic b&b in a fantastic part of Scotland!! We will definitely return!!
