We stayed at Kinloch for 2 nights in September. We were the only guests there and consequently had the entire guest cottage to ourselves, which was rather nice. Kinloch itself is simply fantastic. Richard, Claire and Alfie are warm and wonderful hosts. The rooms were nice and comfortale, the showers were hot and the breakfasts were delicious. And the location?... More

We only had one night at Kinloch on our way further north, but immediately know that we will be back. Situated a mile or so from the village, we had a lovely cottage with comfortable bedrooms and living accommodation and beautiful views across a peaceful loch. Claire and Richard (not forgetting Alfie the dog) are great hosts and we had... More

We had a fantastic stay (4 nights) at Kinloch. The weather was against us but we were able to get out and walk and to return to a fantastic B and B. Superb location for numerous mountains. Excellent hosts who went above and beyond to ensure we had an excellent stay. The breakfast was lovely. We will return!

My friend and I stayed here for 3 nights, in August this year. We used it as a base for walking and had the small cottage to ourselves, which was perfect! It's a lovely, if remote, location but then you're not coming to this area expecting everything to be on your doorstep are you! if you want to use it... More

Lucky to find this place and to spend a night here during a cycle tour of the west Highlands. Richard and Claire are perfect hosts; friendly and helpful without being intrusive. They are dog friendly. The accommodation is in three buildings: the central house, a small lodge, suitable for a couple/small family and a larger cottage. We had the larger... More

I stayed last week as I was up in shieldaig doing some research. What a great spot! The accommodation itself is far more than what i expected. There was only me in the cabin which was really very nice and has all the equipment you would need short of having a full kitchen. The view out the window across the... More

We stayed unfortunately only one night but this is the place to be if you desire silence, wonderful views and peace. The location is simply amazing, right in front of the Loch. From our cottage we could see Shieldaig and the view was astonishing. We arrived late so we couldn't have dinner but luckily we could taste the perfect breackfast... More

We wanted a double room for one night and were given the room at the top of the larger cottage. As no other guests were staying Claire invited us to use the lounge downstairs if we wished, which was lovely. What can I say, the room was very clean, tastefully decorated and the bed was extremely comfortable. Claire cooked us... More

Fantastic setting with very welcoming and informative hosts. We stayed in the larger of the two cottages this was equipped with everything that you require for a stay, it is very comfortable with a wood burner in the sitting area to warm you after a cold day out. There is more than enough space in the drying cupboard to cope... More

Reasonably priced and a great breakfast. The cabins were really nice and the owners super friendly and accommodating. Great friendly dog, too. Great place if you're on a budget because you get a great big breakfast and I believe you can use the canoe and games hall at no extra cost. Bike accommodation too. Great location. Recommended.
